Well, the wife moved out yesterday and when I got home I could not believe it. We agreed on what was being taken and what was not. Basically, everything has gone except: Bed 2 Chest of Drawers Fridge and Freezer I guess it's a clean slate for me now, but I did expect to me left with more stuff. She text me last night asking if I was OK, so at least I know it wasnt done with malice. Just brought it all home I guess, was pretty tearful, but today is a NEW day.

I know you all have lives and more important things to do, but wanted to post my feelings somewhere! Yup, after 2 weeks the wife is actually moving out today with my little one. I know its for the best and this way we both have a chance of a decent life, but after spending 5 years together it still hit me pretty hard this morning and was very choked up as I took our son to the childminder and waved to my wife from the back door for the last time. Will get home tonight and a lot of stuff will be gone, stuff which holds a lot of great memories for me, I just hope I start to feel better soon. It's strange that over the past two weeks I have been OK, but it hit me pretty hard this morning. Thanks for listening.

Car has been in for a complete respray and get it back on Friday night! Cant wait to see what it looks like with a brand new shiny coat of paint!! Is it a massive difference for those qwho have had it done?

Luckily enough (said loosely) we are married, so access to the boy shouldnt be a problem. Just dont know how to make the mortgage this month, thats my biggest problem. Zed is in for a respray on Monday (already paid), got it cheap as the bloke wanted a commitment, therefore can't get money back as he has booked nothing else in! Otherwise, postponing that would of been ideal!

As far as being happy with the situation goes, far from out. But happy that we have split, god yes! It just seems at the time being that turning the other cheek maybe the best option, as dont want to have to worry about her making it "difficult" for me to see my son. dont think she would, but the thoughts there.

She works yes, she HAS the money, but WONT pay. Says she needs it for a bond and first month upfront on a new place. She has no claim to my house plus theres f all equity anyway!

I know what your saying bud, but cant kick her out with a 2 year old! Bottom line is she wont pay, simple as, but is atcively looking elsewhere so should be gone within next couple of weeks. Just fubar in the short term Im afraid.

not sure if anyone else has been in this situation. As most of you who read my previous post know, me and the missus are splitting. Unfortunately at this stage, she has started demanding money from me. She insists that she cant move out until she finds somewhere suitable (fair enough) but while living in the house she cant afford to pay for ANYTHING, this leaves me with all of the bills. This month so far I have forked out over a grand already and am now £400 down on making the mortgage payment. Anyone any advice? Anywhere I can go for a small loan, obtaining credit is difficult for me as I dont have a credit history (dont like to borrow). any advice grateful.

Hi, If you have read my previous post you will know I am getting divorced. The wife and my son will be moving out within the next couple of weeks. Due to this, I now have a 4 bedroom house to myself. The house is 3 years old with all the usual, kitchen, lounge, 3 bathrooms, 4 beds, off street parking (two designated spots). Garden front and back. As mentioned, I have a 2 year old who will be staying with me on a Saturday night, which i am sure wouldnt cause you a problem. I am looking for a minimum let of 3 months and a maximum of however long you want to stay for. £300 deposit, £250.00 per month which includes everything except council tax and BT landline. Sky TV and broadband included FOC. Looking for someone ASAP! Cheers Jon
