just fitted my stainless brake brace thanks to Danny DTA and noticed this connector in picture is undone and don't know what it's for. Everything works and runs fine. I have an HKS EBC and was wondering if this my be the stock boost solenoids been disconnected TIA

they'll give you better control by going active before the amp if you have components. You'll have seperate control volume for your mid/tweets if your tweets are right next to your ears and mids on the floor. I was looking for one of these the other day and that's a good price for a well featured active X the kicker one I was lookinga at for £100 only had half the flexibility that that one does. Don't know about sound qual though take a look at reviews on the net as a guide

looks good I like the 95 spoiler on that one seems to suit it well. May just get mine refitted and boot sprayed it'll save me £200 on a 99 one plus painting it

can you not disconnect the suspect slave drive for the time being and see if the bsod happens. Not sure if bsod would happen with the slave drive but who knows windows does odd stuff. Also new drives can fail too. I had a brand new drive fail in less than 9 months but it would boot now and again(enough for me to get my stuff from it) then it went back to seagate and was replaced under there warranty with a "refurbed " one

I have a 95 like the one you removed in the garage that was supplied with my car but not fitted still unsure about it. I'm not 100% in love with the 99 spec one either. Think the higher level one looks alright pic 4 makes the car look longer for some reason they've done a nice job with the paint and the wheels are lookin fab

I asked out of interest when we were doing a scrap ali run last week and half cats (of which I believe they class the zed cats) were only worth £10 each £20 for full cats but prob will vary from one scrap yard to another

if it's constantly going qrong and showing BSOD's after re installing windows(if it has been shut down correctly always etc) your hard drive may be beginning to show signs of beginning to fail.BSOD's as you have listed above can usually be repaired put the code into google and you should come up with a microsoft page of how to fix it chances are though if you've got a fresh install and it has gone on properly then looks like hdd. I had a bad one and no amount of installing windows, low level formatting(i even tried those hdd repair tool thingies which took ages and was cr@p) repaired it. It would run for a bit and randomly throw a blue screen of death which i'd sort out and a while later it would happen again. got me a new 120Gb HDD for a few quid at the time and it's been running now for about 2-3 years ok. It could be another component but my money is on the HDD you could try running with just on stick of ram and trying them individually till it crashes to rule that out also if you have access to another cpu you could swap them around and try that. I've even had power supplies fail that would still operate the 12v to the CD drives etc I bought a new motherboard and cpu for that machine too til I found out they didn't work on the machine either so sold the old parts on after getting a new psu for it.

looking at these JL Audio 10" 10W0V2 or the vibe blackair 10" or are focal a better deal. I have a peerless XLS10 in my home setup and it's absolutley amazing but the car audio versionhere xxls10( http://www.tymphany.com/datasheet/pdf/830876.pdf )only seems to be available in the states at near £200 without shipping so that's a no go. Looking for quality over spl really TIA

I had to change the fusebox on my escort this morning after loacting it as the only possible problem for the syptoms I was having. Only problem being the scrapyard had about 10 or so and the closest one I could find works everything.... except airbag light is on now(earlier model so wouldn't have one) and rear wiper. Would this be an mot fail in the future I have 9 months left anyways but will start looking for the correct one in the meantime if it will affect MOT
