evening all, I this week i changed my jap imports plugs (pfr6b11) to (pfr6b11c) then reset the ecu. my zed feels a flat now, is this the plugs or the ecu re-learning itself? thanks JIM.

yes, mate i did reset the ecu, do the turbo seals go as quick as that? , and it has'nt had any smoke of any colour since i got it 6months ago thanks for the reply.

3 days ago i started the car up in the morning then went back in to let her warm up. came back out 5 mins later and there was white smoke everywhere out of both?, when you rev it theres a slight blue colour out of passenger side then when you drive off 1 minute down the road everything s clear. This has only just started this week, i cleaned the bodies out the other week (very black) and everything else is spot on. its an import tt auto with 40,000 miles on her. ive just change the plugs to uk ones today aswell, im a little baffled to what it could be?, the ecu read's clean Ive read it could be the pcv valves, could this be becuse i cleaned the bodies? whats the best test i can do? thank you every one............... :( :(

i dont think ill even get in to this argument as is sounds as though you afend easily.

i only really use my overdrive for motorway use, and when in town turn it off, it saves all the gear changes, i just stab the pedel to the the floor and the power light comes on for 10secs and it switches the aircon off for more powerrrrrrrrrrr.

i think ill try some injector cleaner in mine, would the temp sender course a misfire on 1 bank. how can you test these things? thanks for any help lads jim.

no it just conked out while coasting, ive cleaned the tps, thumbs up mate! ive just done a ecu check and it comes up code 55. the strange thing is the car drives great, smooth and powerful. could the strange right exhaust nosie come from a difference in bends in the pipe? jim.

thanks for the reply bud, mine does it hot or cold! it stalled last night while coasting round a corner!!! woooh no brakes...first time its done that, must be getting worse. ill try the 02 sensor test then let you know. jim.

hello all, im fairly new to all this 300zx talk, ive had my tt auto import for about 6 months now 60,000 klm on clock and amaculate in grey. ive had gtirs in the past then made the jump to 300's wow i love it and i can't really see me ever selling! anyway enough of the life story, everythings been great until i started to notice a slight drop in revs about a month ago. since then ive had a s/s powerflow with japcans fitted, i fitted k+n panel filters, now it seems to be getting worse and when you sit at the back of the car the drivers side exhaust seems to be (farting) and the passenger side is real deep and smooth, ive cleaned the throttle bodies (black) and re-adjusted idle after 300 miles, all my conectors are like new, but the car is still on same original plugs?, ive reset ecu, and checked for fault codes? ive checked everything on the site!!! ive checked the coil packs electrical conectors and pulled them of one by one, the car seemed to misfire differently than does when ive explained. ive been running it on 98 unleaded tryed it on shell optimax seemed to make problem worse, still does it with air con on? i appologise for the bible length description, THANK YOU ALL FOR ANY HELP..........JIM
