While fixing a sqeaky door trim last night I noticed the cone on the speaker in passanger door was ripped almost round the entire speaker!! For some reason I forgot to measure the speaker size before I put the trim back on! Anyone know what dimensions I need for a simple as possible replacement? Since my sensitive ears hadn't picked up on this fault I don't think I'll spend too much money on replacements!! Cheers David

I knew I had another niggle! I'm missing the 'z' badge from the centre of the steering wheel. I don't think its effecting performance particularly :rolleyes: but it would really tidy up the inside. Anyone know where I could get one or where there is a scrap Z that would have one available? Thanks again

Cheers Andy, I'll give the Odo thing a go when I'm feeling brave! As for the mirrors, the actual glass in the casing is fine. Its the casing itself, where it pivots to fold away (at the flick of a switch - cool! :) ) that seems loose. The three screws seem fine and I can feel no movement on the screws when I wobble the mirror casing about. The very inside screw is very close to my nice red paintwork for working on :(

Hi folks, Just joined the ranks of 300zx owners this weekend. Having been envious of a friends '90 jap import non turbo for a good few months I couldn't resist when he gave me first refusal on it. Plan was just to keep it for the summer then sell it on but I'm already starting to feel it may be a much longer relationship than that!! Anyway, I've got a couple of little niggles with it you guys may be able to help me with. Firstly, the mirrors both wobble at speed. Is there an easy way to tighten these up or fix it. Also, odo and trip meters are not working. I have seen a web page by Henri Le Hir that seems to suggest how to fix this problem. Has anyone attampted this? Is it easy enough or am I going to end up with my new pride and joy in bits over the summer?! Hopefully I will have nothing more serious than these to worry about! Thanks in advance for your help.
