  1. Oooh, it's good but it's not right!
  2. Living the dream, living the dream! (as that bloke said at JAE 2005 before drinking all Chunk's J-D)
  3. lol - it's good but it's not right!
  4. Who knows? big prize for the winner!
  5. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=85805 Twickenham, TT, manual.
  6. Me too. Fair play to those who chrome chose to them but it's not for me.
  7. They're a clever, honourable race the Dutch. They know the score (and smoke the draw ;) )
  8. Unfortunatley I have the regular headlights. The Nissan HIDs were an option on the 1999 NA - which mine never had. :( Edit - maybe it's a good thing now I'm having to replace one though! I bet getting a replacement Nissan HID light wouldn't be cheap.
  9. Nice one Si - that could save me some grief.
  10. How did you clean the headlights? Do you have to put them in the oven to melt the glue to get them apart or something like that?
  11. My drivers side headlight has started filling with water. I've got a good used replacement so I'm going to have a go at swopping them over. I've got this guide: http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/headlight_removal/headlight_removal.htm Has anyone else got any other advice? It looks like quite a big job (for me anyway!) Cheers! :duffer:
  12. It'd be a bit like a load of people showing a cobbler their best shoes on his day off.
  13. Oh, they've sh1t that up a treat.
  14. Beaten by the bunny! Life does indeed imitate art.
  15. Worth doing a search on this! But - cleaning the inside of them makes a huge difference - dirt builds up over the years and that's why they're so dim. High tech / brighter bulbs help too but cleaning is more important. And HIDs make a massive difference.
  16. Well after speaking to several O2 people on the phone (at length) who all said different things (you can have this phone, you can't have any phone, you can have that phone) and going into two O2 shops for similar treatment, I ended up with..... A Sony W810i To be honest after all the fcuking about I'd have taken anything that worked. And it's pretty much identical to my old 750i (but not broken) At least it was free. And it's got a torch so I'm happy. I miust sound like an old man. I really wanted a simple one with big buttons. I SAID BIG BUTTONS! DID YOU HEAR ME SONNY? Thanks for all the advice - it was useful (so I can tell none of you work for 02) It may not be a superb camera but a phone that's a camera's a bit like Cadfael - he's a detective but he's also a monk! Anyway as an aspiring (semi) professional photgrpaher if I want to take a photo, I'll use a real camera. And breath...
  17. I could win it by mesmerising them all with speed and technique. But I can't enter as my mum might see me on TV in a muscle vest and spot my tattoos and she's be really cross. "Curse my vvvvvveak muscles - I must hold the heavy vvvooden horse at arms length for LONGER!". Prolapsed rectum, anyone?
  18. Christ Si, if she comes looking for you I'll tell her you're not interested and sit her on uncle Craig David's lap instead. She can talk about the first thing that pops up. :D
  19. I recognise your haircut there!
  20. Christ, you get through cars like I get through chewing gum! My 300ZX is my third car and I've been owning/driving about 10 years. Looks a nice Scooby though!
  21. Yes - With your mum ;)
  22. Isn't homosexuality illegal? If so most of this lot would be fooked. And drug use is punishable by the birch.
