Is there anything about 300ZXs you don't know? :bow: For example, how can I get the hot girl from the commercial department at my work to do the biz with me in mine? If you can tell me that, there's definatly a pint in it for you!

The 300ZX doesn't do enormous MPG. Has anyone thought about converting to autogas or whatever it's called?

I know .. a 300zx with a towbar might look a bit iffy. I only want to move the odd motorbike about. Maybe on one of those racks which sit on the towbar. I'm after one with a removable end so it looks standard when not in use. I've done a search but the threads seem old and I couldn't get to some of them. Any idea where / if I can get a towbar?

I think we should have them. The technology exists to make them near impossible to forge. How easy is it to forge money? Pretty hard! Those new credit carrds with chips are tricky to crack too. I think they'd help and I have nothing to hide (I do shut my curtains as while I don't mind admitting to 'shivering one out' now and then, I don't think people want to see it. And it keeps the house warmer). The plusses would outweigh the minuses.

My 300 has the standard Japanese stereo. It sounds great and has a CD changer. But it's not got a removable face or any other security. It'd cost about £250-300 to replace it with a 'face off' one. Has anyone left their std Jap stereo in and have thay had problems or no problems?

I often see the Z- logo or keyring made out of metal with three holes. Some people have it on their posts and you see them for sale on ebay etc. I think it's the same one that was in Pulp Ficton. It was on the key of the motorbike owned by the bloke (called Zed!) who gave the gangster a nasty seeing to in a basement before Bruce Willis stabbed him with a Samurai sword. That ring a bell with anyone?

I use Zymol wash and polist; it's excellent and smells nice too! I haven't tried the water spraying thing; do you just give it a waft with the hose and go over it again with a cloth?

what octane booster can you use? Where can you get it?

Try heat. Maybe use a hairdrier, then peel the vinyl off. Combine that with dabbing using some sort of volatile cleaner like meths etc on a decent cloth (this will remove the heated and softened glue residue). Loads of stickers and stuck on things are put on using heat based glues so this can work well. Equally, don't let anything get too hot or it might damage it.

Some posh bloke round the corner has just got one. I have a nasty feeling it'd cane my (N/A) 300. But I reckon I can take more drink and drugs than him, so you have to ask yourself, who's the real winner? As I said to him "I rest on your face... I mean I rest my case". :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I'm not to sure about that mate. I did think of adding a wing. My car has no rear spolier of any sort. Anyone got a pic of a 300 with a drop-dead gorgeous aluminium wing?

When I bought my 300ZX, my girlfriend and mates all pissed themselves as the mats say 'Fairlady'. So I've banned the word from the house (but no-one listens). Anyone else feel the same? Or know how to get rid of the 'F*******' tag from the original interior mats without ruining them. :dance: :dance:

Ghosts only exist in people's heads. They can be attributed to 'hypnogogic experiences' which occur as you leave or enter sleep. It's a state the brain passes through. I 'saw' a ghost myself in a hotel room one morning. It looked like an old fasioned bloke doing metal work at the table. But I knew what it was and that it wasn't real. I looked away for a bit and hoped it'd go away but it wouldn't. Mind you, you could say everything we experience only exists in our heads. Or something.

Could it have been cut in half by the fire brigade to get people out? Or could it have been two cars welded together? The force needed to rip it like that would be astronomic.

I want to take the reflectors of the side (on the rear bumper) of my Jap 300 to tint them. Any idea how to take them off? Cheers :hyper:

Excellent. I know Norman himself and he's always been very helpful (but that's probably because I work for a big motoring magazine). I'd be interested to hear how it goes. He did tell me £399 for the Z31 and £499 for the Z32 kit but maybe either would work fine.

A website supplier I know (mainly for motorbike bits) does a specific kit for the Z32 for £499, which is quite good value, I think. I don't know any more about it but the website is http://www.nippynormans.com

They stopped making them in 2000 but maybe some were not sold or registered until 2002.

I see alloys for sale in car mags, new with new Z-rater tyres, under £1000 for four. Why, then do people rush to spend that or more on used ones with worn tyres etc? (on here or ebay or other places) Is it just looks? It is becasue Z-wheels are fractionally wider? Are some rubbish and dent easily?

The Zymol polish smells of coconut and bannana! My girlfriend got a whiff and said she'd wash her hair in it!
