I would say... Pikeys are or Irish descent. Gypsys / Gyppos are from eastern Europe / Romania. Both are itinerrant (ie move about in caravans) I think chavs are a regionally based social grouping like neds.

About 10 years ago I tok a blank firer into a bank. I had it hidden in my trousers. Why? I was going to take £3000 out to buy a motorbike and I had recently working by myself in an off-licence which was held up so I was nervous. As I was leaving the bank the blank firer almost fell out of my trousers and someone saw it. I didn't know but they took my car reg and a few days later at 6am loads of police with guns and dogs turned up at my house (I was living with my folks and they weren't impressed). I explained to the police and they admitted I hadn't done anything wrong and left. I still have all the search warrants etc they bought with them. I can't believe they did you for this? Has the law changed? My mate has a blank firing gun and he's always shooting it in his garden. I'm gonna warn him.

The main door trim on the drivers door seems too close to the dashboard. The door trim is much further away on the passengers side. At higher speed the drivers side door trim and dashboard rub together and make a noise. Any idea if you can adjust the position of the door trim? I mean the main bit with the air vent it. I lived in Nottgham for about seven years (Radford, Lenton, The Park). No be honest I didn't think there were any more girls than guys. Although, yes there were a lot of nurses (and there was a 'nurses night' at the Irish nightclub). I thought it was a great place though and would move back there if it was nearer work.

Doesn't the picture look like they go where the reflector is, not the side indicator? The screw hole matches that rear bumper reflector too, not the side indicator on the front wing.

My 200SX got eaten from the inside out by rust. By the time it bubbled through it would have cost more to repair than the car was worth. Any idea how to stop my 300 rusting as winters coming and the roads will be salty? I saw some underbody wax sprays and ones to go into gaps in doors etc. Are they worth using? What about spraying WD40 under the car or hosing down the underside regularly? Any other advice? I can't take my car off the road and can't afford another one. Thanks!

I think Series IV (October '94 onwards) had iron / steel calipers and earlier ones were aluminium. Not sure why they changed... maybe as iron / steel can absorb more heat???

Some people have found imports don't cost more to insure than UK cars. And a recent poll on this site showed they have less rust than UK cars.
