  1. Sweeeeet! I always wanted one of those! Especially the saloon. They look well 'ard and quick too.
  2. Didn't they make the Type-R in 2000? Maybe they were modified ones they built earlier. Either way, I'd be up for a brand new one! I guess it'd go for £50,000 or more so not cheap. Maybe twice that.
  3. like it! could do with bigger exhausts and wheels though.
  4. Running lean can cause a piston to hole. I dunno why it would - air leak in a carb stub or something?
  5. Orange trigger - hmm I think mine might have one too but I dunno what it does. Mine doesn't have cruise control thought so I can't help there either! Sorry - not much use! Sure someone or those links will know.
  6. Spilt my space Pepsi, you have.
  7. Lol, 'fair' they aren't! You'd think you could do them under the trades description act!
  8. Welcome to the forum mate. Which controls are you unsure about exactly? Heater? Gearbox switch? Others?
  9. I got a big, famous stereo ( 'ICE'!) shop top sell and fit my stereo. They advertise big in car mags etc so I thought they'd be good. They did a terrible job. I went back and complained and they ummed and arrd. I went back again with a letter to the boss and they took me seriously, and stayed open 90 minutes after closing to get it all right (except they couldn't get the electric seat working again they said it had probably just broken and it was my problem). I got home and found they'd dropped a trim screw in the seat rail and they'd charged me almost twice what other places were for the stereo unit. I'd never go back there. i'd do it myself or use a little, low-profile place nearby instead.
  10. Is he some sort of florist-to-the-stars?
  11. There's a box called 'manage attachments' below the 'submit reply' box.
  12. Gutting mate  Have a beer. :duffer: It wasn't a good day for Jesus either so I dunno why it's called that.
  13. Titty wop :hyper:
  14. I'd rather be beaten to death with an iron bar. Twice. So I gotta find some car stuff to do.
  15. I was gonna ask this question too. If I haven't got any car stuff to do I may get dragged to a shopping centre in Milton Keynes  There's that Southend thing which should be good - not sure if there's much else..... anyone?
  16. Yep - brake cleaner aerosol to lift the oil up and hold it briefly in solution, a quick brush, followed by a detergent like Gunk foaming spray and plenty of water.
  17. £25K??? But they say the number plate's worth £16K..... so would they take nine for the car?
  18. Surely if it helps, a chip can grow, aided by the use of simple hand tools? :smash:

Excellent! If you're ever after bike insurance, make sure you get the right number of 't's in Bennetts in http://www.bennetts.co.uk or it takes you somewhere very different....
  21. Practice in an empty car park maybe. See how much will make it spin.
  22. What with being "a little bit woo, a little bit way" I can't confirm this. I wish I could. In all probability I won't make it but if did turn out to be possible I'd love to come along.
  23. 1000VT - re-read this and maybe I'm being a bit tight - sorry! Maybe you are French? Maybe not, It doesn't matter. If I can help I'm happy to (realise it may be a bit late though!!)
  24. I have to say I agree with Billy - this does sound slightly iffy. Surely you have people in the UK that you know who can help rather than using an internet forum you've made a handful of posts on? I admit it's most likely perfectly genuine but you must see it looks a bit suspicious, yes?
