I'm kind of trying to save up for a 350Z but am not sure. For the same money a clean 2002 Supra might be a better bet. Spend an extra £1000 and take it to 400bhp. Or a 1999 Maserati 3200GT(boomerang lights!). Now that would be sweet. :bow: Aw well I can't afford any of them anyway.

Yep, my instinct is a box-fresh Z32 might give a Z33 a bloody nose.

A-reg Metro 1.0 L in dark brown. (points closed in damp weather knocking 20mph of top end and made it run terrible - handled well though!) S13 200SX. 300ZX! :dance: Three cars in eight years (had the 200 for over 5 years). Had about 20-25 motorbikes though.

Clarkson and his little bitch-boy have all the cool of a grandmas shopping trolley so I don't see they have the right to judge cars cred. The 350Z has a nice blend of geek and gangsta chic. I'd have one if I could afford it. That said, I do like Top Gear - stunning production values and fresh treatments of car tests. Compare it to Fifth Gear - that looks like a sixth form project next to Top Gear. Remeber the time he took the diesel Jag to the Nurburgring? Or the time he drove the 911, Monaro etc on that enormous beach? Or the time he out-manoeuvered a Apache Helicopter on a VX220? Or the time he raced Easyjet to the Monaco in an Aston Martin? Remember anything on Fifth Gear except that Tiff Needle droning on and thinking he's big time cos he can drive fast and slide a car. I don't.

I see it now! Dunno what the car is though - maybe a queer concept car like a Chrysler or Daihatsu or something.

It's all about the area under the power curve, not the highest point (unles you work the gearbox and clutch to keep the revs at peak power). That's why the Z32 beats the 350Z (which is lighter and equally powerful). That's what makes modern TD very fast and easy to drive quick.

Depends what year each one is. That probably makes more difference than the difference between the actual models. I was lucky enough to ride the K1, K3 and K5 GSXR1000s today. The K5 is amazing but you can get a new K3 (or K4) for about £2500 less than a new K5 and for that sort of price difference, I'd have a K3 or 4. And if a 2004 R6 isn't powerful enough for you then :bow: They all scare the sh1te out of me.

Surely this proves it's the driver, not the car that matters - especially when they're all over 250bhp.
