  1. The Fiat is a good car. It's fast. But it's front wheel drive and lacks the Z's build quality and presence. And the Z is faster, especially if tuned. I'd go for a Nissan 200SX S14A over a Fiat Coupe Turbo. You'd get a much newer Fiat or 200SX than 300ZX for the same money (although you can get 300ZXs as late as 2000 from Japan but they'd be over £10K).
  2. Mate, they were always on at me to join before I did. Then when I did they invited me to a 'meet' in a pub car park and tried to touch me up. I felt so dirty and ashamed... don't make the mistake I did. :(
  3. Sorry to hear that mate - hope it all sorts itself out and you find something better and it'll all be for the best then.
  4. I can see tham but not convert them (I'm on an OSX Mac at work). They're gooooooood!
  5. Good work Tony - great one of me - I just need to make the car go faster!
  6. I've seen jobs advertised for charity co-ordinators / fund raisers etc at £60K PA sometimes. I think many organised charities are lazy / grasping / corrupt / inefficient.

I'm hoping to make it along - gotta try and cancel some work. Will try and let you know which way asafp.
  8. "Back to de island" As the Vengaboys said!
  9. Black Scorpion - welcome to the site. :hyper: Max Sunny - no shortage of 'cheap fags' on this board anyway (not me, mind!). :duffer:
  10. Chris - a chat at JAE would be great. I'm not about to do anything straight away but it's a dream. Chunk - it's worth a thought - bikes are great but Japanese cars are better!
  11. I'd love to work for myself. I'd love to have work involved with Japanese performance cars. Has anyone else thought about setting up a business like this? Any ideas what would be feasible - importing cars, selling parts, anything? I'm no expert with any aspect of Japnese cars to be honest. Or is it a crazy dream and would rob me of the hobby I love / go tits up and bankrupt me?
  12. I'm with you there on the 'honesty' thing. There's just too many mistakes for someone who's driven it for a while. There's plenty more Zs out there. This could be a good one but remember a bad one is almost worse than no Z at all - they can just cost so much to put right. My best advice it to pretend to be really naieve when viewing and ask lots of 'silly' questions you really know the answers too - see if he tries to bullsh1t you. A honest seller won't mind or talk rubbish.
  13. That's am impressive job! Not sure what that 'steering wheel' is like to use. And I've said this before but the original KITT did have a puff's voice. :wack:
  14. It'd take a clever Z to beat one of those!
  15. They say it's four wheel drive which it isn't. Could be a mistake, could be a dealer who just doesn't know the car. Doesn't mean it's a bad car but something to be aware of. They say the steering wheel tilts too which it doesn't so I guess they haven't driven it far - probably a dealer.
  16. Civic Type R owners do seem to be a bit desperate to prove something more often than not. I like the Accords and Integras (well, the cars - don't know any owners!). The Civic's a bit too obvious.
  17. I used to hate queues and speed bumps. Now I've got the Z I love them - extra posing time!

  19. Last one anyone? Or it goes in the bin.
  20. My Mrs is a BB fanatic. She's off to her cousins for the first show tonight. Last series her cousins went down to where they make it and were part of the screaming crown of morons. It's just third rate tat and trivia - still gives me more time to do stuff I want.
  21. The other day the woman who fills up the chocolate vending machine at work caught me rocking it. She got pretty nasty then, I can tell you. :slap:
  22. Bizarrely I work in the place where Max Power is made. I've grabbed a few copies of their latest issue which has this rather good supplement included. If anyone wants a copy, I'll stick one in the post to the first three people who PM me an address to send it to. There's plenty of totty in there too (not that we're interested in that, I'm sure).
  23. I've got it in front of me now. Not a bad 'spread' on the 300. Our site is quoted indirectly several times - it's quite good information and they've got some of the more important info (assuming it's accurate). They've clearly spoken to Luke at the Z-centre too! It's a good supplement all things considered. Probably a 'spoiler' for J-Tuner to use an industry term!
