  1. Congratulations to all the Smithys! :duffer:
  2. Stayed in the Fancourt Hotel last year when doing the Garden Route. It was amazing - recommended.
  3. Crickey! Bet you sh1t yourself when it happened! Glad it turned out ok!
  4. Thank you Ken. It's good but it's not right I'm afraid. I'm after something bigger and free standing. I can't add a pic as although I've renewed my membership it hasn't been activated yet.
  5. OK... here's a tough question. I need to make a Ferrerro Rocher pyramid (like in the advert "Why ambassador, you really spoiling us" etc). Any idea how to make one? It must be functional (ie can be passed round, people take one and eat it). Should I use glue - if so what sort? Should there be some sort of cone of polystyrene inside to bulk it out? Has anyone done this before? Any ideas? Cheers gents!
  6. True I guess. My greatest regret is not working hard when I was at school / college and that's something I didn't do.
  7. ... A bit like people who say 'live every day like it was your last' If I did that, I'd spend all my cash, take loads of heroin and shoot anyone I didn't like the look of. Not a wise strategy. It just sounds good.
  8. Surely that's just glib nonsense IMHO The things I regret were the things I did (crashing cars, failing exams etc)
  9. Sex

Me too now. But it worked yeterday. Some of them were proper filthy - one wanted "three robots - one for each orifice" etc etc!

Looking good mate. Will you be putting a spoiler on or leaving it smooth? Or is it a secret ? Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  11. Happy birthday :duffer: :duffer:
  12. Kill Bill 1 was good; innovative, pacy and stylish Kill Bill 2 was none of the above and a bit sh1t IMHO

Wow, a 14 second quarter from an NA! Impressive. Are your mods just chip, filter and underdrive pulleys? Did you do that run with your 18" wheels?
  14. T-cut - it's a mild abrasive so takes a tiny layer of the paint. Then a wax will bring it up gorgeous.
  15. 17" Oz Racing Handling was better on the standard wheels though.
  16. I can't do it. It's wierd - it's like some sort of insight into how the body / brain is wired on a basic level or something. Good though! :duffer:
  17. 1999 RR-X. The 'Las Vegas Elvis' Blade. Probably the best carb'd Blade you can get. No history is a bit worrying but cos it's from a dealer you have loads of consumer rights (far more than those printed warranty books suggest). Summer's almost over, so offer him £2600! The asking price sounds good though.
  18. by bank transfer. ref: Craig David Can I have full site access / powers and a keyring please? Cheers! :duffer:
  19. Did it again - got 20. Onomatopoeia as in onomatopoeiaic!
  20. Got number one right then number two wrong so gave up in a fit of pique. Who the fukc knows what an Onomatopoeia is anyway? I'm a journalist too ffs.
  21. Getting chang'd up and beating pros.
  22. IMO.. There's no such thing as ghosts - the only place they exist is in people's heads. I guess you could say that about religion too though, and that has a powerful effect on the world.
  23. My mrs is basically most / all of http://www.sugarstreet.com And I could do with a cambelt service and new discs all round in the not too distant...
  24. My front one broke recently so I took (ok ripped) it off. I could do with a new one. Will it do the car any damage driving it without one? I thought it would be ok as long as I replaced it before winter.
