Totally agree about thye Zed loving the motorway.... cruising at 90 to 100 mph is best for quickness of journey vs fuel economy. I can do 1/4 tank pootling round on a weekend and a 1'4 tank on a very fast drive from Aylesbury to Zedworld in Tamworth.... just shows the difference. Fuel ecomomy drops off rapidly at over 110 mpg

Thanks all ... Yes I did have a good one although the Zed is still in at Digbeth Coachcraft having the ding taken out and the nearside sorted and sprayed... Ding caused by a silly woman backing out straight into me in a car park. Still Insurance are paying up and have agreed it's a no bleme accident and I've got a brand new Freelander 2 from Drive Assist. Like driving a bus ! I'll put some pics of the zed when it's done and got it's 18's on Thanks again Tony

Just been looking the Mail motoring section and it says Renault are releasing a Laguna Coupe. It has four wheel steering and a 3.5 litre V6 240 bhp petrol engine Looks very much like a cross between the 300 and 350 zeds. Trust the French owners of both to produce a zed hybrid !

Hi Just doing a De Cat on a Jap spec with an original exhaust may not give you what you want. The exhaust is also restricted in the section just after the Cats. If you split the exhaust have a look. Zed World showed me when they fitted my Mongoose system. Apparently it was part of the gentlemans agreement in Japan not to exceed a certain BHP limit and they knew people would try a de cat so they restricted the exhaust as well. I left the cats on to protect the turbo seals but the Mongoose system certainly made a big difference to overall breathing If you want to check, split the exhaust behind the cats and check the interior vs exterior measurements Hope this helps

Power mode all the time makes it very thirsty though..... better to select it when you need it and switch it back to middle position when not required. Gives you a great buzz though when you kick down hard and it kicks in !

Just played it and LOVE IT !

Mine does that. I think thats to warn thats it's holding the lowest gear it can if you use full kickdown. If don't use full kickdown it won't come on. ie in Overdrive it kicks out of overdrive and doesn't change down further = no light. In overdrive and it kicks out and drops down a gear = power light

Yes, we were on a tight timescale though... and then facing a 50mph drive back.. going to upgrade to 18s though but it means I won't have a spare of 17s just in case.... bummer Don't know yet whether it was a puncture first them rim damage or rim failure that deflated the tyre. won't know til the tyre is off the rim and onto the other one and can be checked out

Well Jeff lent me some alloys whilst mine were being refurbed..... got them back and gave him back his. Yesterday had to do a trip Aylesbury to Swansea and back. Got just past Bridgewater on the way down a had a blowout doing about 95 - 100.... Completely wrecked the wheel. Had to put the pram wheel on (Thanks RAC man) and had to stay at 50 mph the rest of the way down. Phoned up Zedworld and asked if they still had the spare alloys. Yes they said, we can courier them to your work for you. So drove all the way back at 50 like a rolling hazard on the M4 and made it back. Into work this morning and at midday two alloys turn up for me Thanks again Zedworld.... Customer Service par excellance

Get it checked at zedworld.... Drivers in Birmingham are gearbox specialists

If the reg has been checked and it was showing as white and is now blue, that's illegal in itself so anyone caught speeding by that van should challenge it as an illegal vehicle and have their conviction quashed

Depends if they're illuminated or not.... probably better Red if they are, otherwise clear as just reflectors
