I had a manual conversion done on my Auto TT and I they put an NA box on it..... that has a different speedo drive cog apparently so when the speedo says I'm doing 70 mph in fifth I'm actually doing 85mph Other gears are out and reading under as well Just waiting for the correct drive cog to be fitted It's got B all to do with the Kph to Mph converter

or a manual conversion with the wrong speedo cog left in !

Mines still got the CATS in as well and that makes a louder purr than standard, but not too loud...

That's built to be loud ! You could probably sell that one and buy a mongoose or do a swap with someone !

Mine can light in third if it's really floored ! Not always, but last year met up with FunkySi and we had a play, He drove mine and spun the wheels in third with two of us in it, Mine had Apexi front intakes, chipped and boosted to 1 bar and mongoose exhaust. Oh and was Avon zz3s with good tread I don't usually drive mine that hard and it only happens when turbos sre on full chat going through the gears, doesn't happen if you floor it in third to start with But it is quick all the same :wink:

What exhaust have you got that's too loud ? I've got a Mongoose S/Steel system and that's about as loud as I'd want to go, but I get more noise on crap road surfaces from the wide tyres !

Besdt thing you can do if you're only in Leicester is get it to Zedworld and let them give you the low down on it It'll be the best trip you ever make (for the car that is !)

Get a compression test done..... That'll show you whether it's the rings or PCV valves and as above PCV valves can take a while clear....

I once had a Ford Ka as a courtesy car and when I turned up at the security gate at where I was working the guy asked me 'What the hell is that ?" I replied "It's a courtesy car", he shot straight back with " I wouldn't call it a courtesy, giving you one of those !"

Hi and welcome Best thing you can do have a nice drive up to Zedworld and get them to give you a full report on it They will give you a list of anything that needs doing now, anything that will need doing in the near/medium future and tell you what to watch for to add to the list ! Well worth it
