Running your own business
Hi Anthony From personal experience I would say it's best if it's a limited company and you pay yourself a minimal salary and pay tax and NI on it. The rest you can take as dividends. I've just a huge problem with the powers that be because I went slf employed for 6 months, and then went back to a salaried basis. They didn't like that at all ! Best of luck with it mate, You deserve some. Follow Richards advice in the end, he got the experience

The old Auto versus Manual debate
Having had a manual conversion on my zed I always say that a manual box lets you appeciate just how much raw power there is in a TT, but perversly, it makes you realise just how good the ato box is at delivering it smoothly and seamlessly

Scarborough Meet Aug 25th
Right...... This is where it is...... Google maps 'Shell Station, Old Malton Road, Staxton' Thats where it is Coming from the west, follow the A64 from York right the way down and you'll come to a r'bout that left For Scarborough and right for Filey. It's about 150 metres before that next to the Shell station If you over shoot go round the r'bout and come back If you come over the A614, then right onto the B1249 at Driffield and then down Staxton Hill it's turn right at the bottom and then your on A64 and you can see the Shell Station If you're coming from the North, follow the A64 round Scarborough, and out, over a roundabout where Morrisone are, Over another and the you'll see the Shell station before you get to the next whre you'll turn right and it's about 150 meteres up on the left If you're coming from the South, Hull, Bridlington etc follow the coast road. You'll be approaching Filey and and theres a roundabout just after a level crossing, go straight over that and then turn left about 200 yds after that towards A64 York. Follow it right the way along through two villages to the roundabout, turn left, and you're there. Observe the village speed limits because I've seen mobile speed traps there, even on a Sunday If youre coming from the East you're lost..... you'll be in coming in from the North Sea ! Quite straightforward
