  1. will try this one ! thanks:thumbup1:
  2. its hard work!! expensive too but can be done,
  3. lol i was told this by my car trimmer who done all my cars & looked at my zed & i have watched them work for hours on all types of cars he told me this is what he would do..lol to prevent sagging use a heat gun & streach material around then when the material cools it shrinks taking up any slack thus not leaving any to sag!..but thats just from what he told me & what i seen him do ...& i will be doing this to mine ....when you peel off old stuff it can leave a slightly bumpy surface which u either spend ages getting flat or end up with a bumpy finish with your new stuff or putting a layer of foam over!! so just as easy to go straight over the cloth. any way at least u have 2 options lol & i would use contact adhesive out of a tin the style u put on with a spatula it will cover better & wont come off ...spray adhesives are ok for headlinings & lite weight materials like that! again only from watching & learning over the years spent down his trimming shop drinking tea & doing my cars ...mainly tea tho!!
  4. has yours been bypassed? or u still got all the water ways? dont forget the 2 earthing points at the back on top, plus the pcv hoses each side towards the back, vac hoses under throttle bodies & on the sides, & all y our coil packs too..
  5. i would go straight over the top if i was u double layer the glue to allow for soaking up! this way it will give u some padding too;-)
  6. how about a mk1 or mk2 MR2??
  7. nice!! i really like the bubble arches on the red one..who does them?
  8. pull them out 1 at a time! then use a good spark plug & insert into coil pack..the next part will require 2 people ...rest the metal of the spark plug to earth(metal of engine) & while someone turns the key u check to see if the plug sparks!! i hope that made sense?
  9. ok another little tip here, when your foam mop head has had it dont throw it away !!!! break it up into handy sizes as this is ideal for applying plastic conditioner (make sure u use the under side opposed to the sdie thats got compound all over it when applying) this saves on waste too ;-) & sponge is much better to use than cloth!!
  10. the one in pic is a series 2 so dont expect your to look like this but it will be in the same location!
  11. easy to see its on the left cam cover between water pipes & air intake pipe !
  12. if all your injetors are working then u need to check u have spark at each one, so pull the coil packs one at a time & check for a spark !
  13. to listen to the injectors if u think its not firing on all of them use a long screw driver & put the end of it to the top of each injector, with your ear to the handle(like a stephascope)& u will hear if they are all clicking ok, this will eliminate a few ideas.
  14. could be a pipe popped off when u booted it (boost leak) or could be a loose injector connector ptu connector or coil pack connector! basic check them all ...if all are ok check the MAF
  15. how about a mk3 cortina or mk2 granada?
  16. looks a very neat & very professional job u guys are doing keep up the good work ....its gonna be the cleanest zed out there for sure!

  20. excuse me for being ignorant but r u talking about the viscose fan, the main fan on engine? if so that runs all the time? or have u an electric fan attached to your RAD??
  21. welcome!! im sure from your thumbnail pic its the dark purple one wilth arch extensions & afterburner tail lights?? was on ebay a couple of years ago the i see it on there again since then? i could be wrong? if it the same one...i was drawling over it lol
