  1. Cheers, did you guys order from bde?
  2. When you say the ghk forces air back into the inlet track thus creating the noise (I assume this is what you mean) the noise surely is the air being chopped by the turbo blades, as the ghk has a stronger tension spring??
  3. I don't, I'm just suggesting that would have the same affect? It's running 10psi
  4. Standard at the moment yes. Wouldn't plugging the vacuum lines have the same effect as blanking the system? I would like more noise, so probably will go with the ghk kits with standard recircs, plus it's there then for when the car is mapped by Noel. Where is the best place to buy the kit from? The link that was posted earlier? Or another supplier in the uk? Thanks
  5. T300zx yes a video with specs would be great. I now know I can't drive much longer with these Blimming atmos bovs, i have two options, buy the goose honk deletes or blank the valves altogether.. Btw I already have a mushroom filter installed, and with the stock recircs it is still deadly silent on throttle release..
  6. Have you seen my recent thread on bovs? I can't get my car to run smoothly with them, it's ok when am hard on and off the pedal, it's when the pedal is being adjusted steady that the car richens up and hesitates..
  7. Do you have a pic to show the chambers chromed? I have the crystal lights from zcentre in ATM. I like the green as it will keep it looking as though it has an original factory panel in. Btw, don't suppose you have ever made matching quarter glass sun shades that illuminate? I have always wanted a set but only seen one set on eBay that was faulty.. I am guessing for the finer details you are best messaging me on 07874 247 247 Thanks
  8. Yea my stock recircs drove fine but were silent..
  9. Cheers mate, what is the cost? Thanks
  10. Cheers, looks like I shall be investing in those then..
  11. Ok, so with these kits then obviously they have a stronger spring that let's go of boost at what psi? I am guessing that yours dosnt flutter when 16psi is dumped? So at what psi does the flutter quieten? Thanks
  12. Ok, I understand though that this can be detremental to the lifespan of the turbos?
  13. If I put my recircs back on, (that are silent) how is it these kits can get noise out of them? I can't get my head round how they can make the stock recircs noisy? Thanks
  14. Ok, i am intrigued to how they sound? Is there any clips on YouTube that show a similar sound to yours? What's making the noise? Turbo stall? Thanks
  15. The bde what now? I guess it could be leaking again, got be worth a check I guess
  16. I did a boost leak test after the fmic was installed as I couldn't get the car to boost correctly, what leaks there were have been fixed..
  17. Ah that's a shame, yes it's an oem green one. If It has to be A replacement in an ideal world I would like a 99 spec red that lights up oem green.. Do you use LEDs? Cheers
  18. There are 11 full turns of the adjustment screw. I have tried them all the way in, all the way out, 5.5 turns in, 7.5 turns in and 3.5 turns in. All this does is adjust the tension of the spring, it is not helping the drivability/smoothness coming off the power. I can only assume my map dosnt support atmospheric bovs.. Thanks
  19. Does anyone have a contact for him, or know where I can buy a new or used one? Thanks
  20. My genuine rear glow panel has given up :( The little metal box is buzzing but the panel has stopped illuminating.. Is it kaput? Thanks
  21. I am still having problems with these valves running my car rich at throttle release. I understand it because of the maf but it almost makes the car undriveable when coming off the throttle slowly... Surely others with atmospheric bovs must have experienced this?? Does a remap smooth out this miscalculation of air and fuel on throttle release?? Thanks
  22. I admit it would be the sensible option. I have wound each screw all the way in and went for a drive. Driveability has improved with power delivery much smoother. When the car boosts 10psi there is a very very quiet whoosh noise as the throttle is relased. Anything less than 10psi results in compressor surge. I guess I need to find the happy medium and set these bov`s up as best I can. Any advise in how to do this? Even when these are set up correctly I am guessing there will always be some compressor surge on part boost?? Thanks
  23. I have just been out in it again, If I accelerate and let the boost gauge rise but keeping it in the vacuum and slowly release the throttle it's the same; jerky, as though it's missing.. The screws are adjusted fully out on each. I guess I should wind them in a bit and see if that improves any. Thanks
  24. Cheers, the car holds boost fine. The valves are in the same place as the original recircs were...
