About 6 weeks ago i did a search on ebay.com for "300zx 99 spec lights" and a set of two led clusters and a centre panel came up for $400 deliverd to the UK, the lights were all clear and had led stop and tail lights and led indicators, it said that they hadnt long been out and advertised them as being one of the first sets availible to the UK... Unfortunatly i cannot find them anywhere now, and would really like a set, has anybody come accross these before and know where i can get some from??? cheers guys Dan

OK, im thinking of purchasing a HID kit for my Z, ive installed them before and know how they work etc, but, ive heard that Z headlamp units are extremely difficult to work with, how true is this? Secondly, ive heard that an extra wiring kit may be need for the UK, spec as a pose to the Jap spec, also how true is this, and if you have any more more information it would be grately appreciated... cheers, guys Dan dannyjhunter@hotmail.com

will it still kill it if i take my time whilst using the clutch ???

Just been up there all night tonight, and as soon as i left i gets a phone call off one of me mates telling me theres a smart zed driving round about 20 mins ago...who was it?

you say i have to watch my clutch, is this only a threat when launching my car from a standstill and eratic gearchanges, or is the clutch now in a constant danger with the upped boost...?

Do you think 15psi is a little high for my car?

Ive chipped my manual TT and wound the boost up, the car has a little over 100,000 miles and has ran fine all day since its been done, however, i have noticed my engine oil temperature on average has crept up about 5 degrees celcious, is there anything else i should know or look out for now im running higher boost than standard...???

Going to install my controller hopefully this weekend, and up my boost to about 14psi. Firstly though i need to chip it, can anyone please advise me on the best way to go about this, and please leave some links if you have any, thanks Dan

Just installed my new lcd touch screen dvd player and it works mint, except for when a disc is playing and the headlights/sidelights are on, as when i begin to drive i get interferance through the speakers as a whistle which is consistant with the engine speed. The interferance goes when the disc stops playing or the headlights are switched off... whats going on and how do i fix this problem??? cheers guys

I have found that the dipstick on z`s are crap, im changing my engine oil this weekend, exactly how much oil do they take to fill to the `full` level on the dipstick??? cheers Dan

I am running a standard z32 TT and want to increase the boost slightly I have been told that i need an electronic controller, is this true? Secondly, what controllers are recomended out of both electronic and manual... cheers guys

Was out in my car the other night and i launched from a standstill in first up to the red, into second and straight up to the red again, then i braked, as the car was slowed to about 20mph the revs dropped until it almost stalled and i lost my powersteering for several seconds... Does anyone know what this could be? The engine was not cold, i had been running it that night for maybe 4 hours previous...

Has anybody found these bezels anywhere else, preferebly in english too?

My Z currently has the two seperate cd player and radio (standard nissan) i want to take them both out and put in a double din cd player... Do i have to cut the middle plastic bar between the two or can i get a suitable double din surround...? Cheers Guys

I got to prep my car for my local bodyship which includes removing my spoiler , its the 92 spec twin turbo spoiler made of rubber (some are carbon fibre i believe), ive been told its bonded on, is this true? whats the best way to remove it, and if anyones local to Stoke on Trent do you wana help me? :-) cheers guys Dan

Changed my oil filter twice now and its still leaking from the filter seal, both times i have put the genuine nissan filter on and it still seems to leak oil when the engine is hot...what can i do?

Instead of fitting dump valves to get the usual whoosh sound, can another device be fitted to enable a wastegate chatter noise instead??? My mate has a 200sx, he put an air filter on and that made his car sound as though it had a wastegate on as it chattered when he changed gear, but it was quiet. How can i achieve this noise on a Z (but louder)...??? Cheers Guys
