My Z is going in for a respray in April, Im still undecided on the exact colour to go for. The following are colours I`m currently torn between; what do you think? sorry to sound so dumb, but what exactly do you mean when you say earth one side? Also, what happens when I flash with headlights on? do they flash off as the mains flash on, or do they just stay lit ? Cheers mate

isnt this for the high/low beam mod? not the sidelight mod??

I still dont get it, what do I have to do? I assume if I leave it alone my xenons will try to light up dull when just the sidelights are on? and this will damage them!?

I have a stage 1 Saab 9-5 HOT Aero, sometimes, not all the time under full acceleration in 3rd, 4th & 5th as the car reaches peak boost (1 bar) it will surge (rapidly flutter in and out of boost), when it does it I can actually see my boost gauge going wild and hear the boost fluttering when the window is down. Like I say it dosnt always do it - only when the map is requesting high levels of boost from the turbo (dosnt always i.e if fuel is good, air density is good etc etc). My question is though, why does my car do this? Turbo too small? Turbo too big? Poor mapping? knackered bov? boost leak? Cheers guys, Dan

Is there anything that he can do to the PCV valves? Is the problem that they get blocked? Can they be cleaned out or anything? Or is just a case of getting them replaced?

routine oil check last night and i noticed these two disconnected, they are right up by the bulk head slightly towards the near side, what are they for? why would it be disconnected? cheers, dan

ok, so new ones? rebuild the originals? whats the most money efficient way? If new? where is the best place tog et them from?

Cant say I have noticed on the inside of the exhaust, but the back of the car does get black particles on it when I have been driving hard, although they are easy to notice as it is a white car

no definatly not steam, it smelt and lingered (too heavy for steam) and yes definatly from out the exhaust pipes, however, it might have been just one side but not 100% sure, the last time I saw this was a couple of years ago mid summer when I left it ticking over for about 10 minutes on a very hot day... but have never seen it since, until today

I had driven my Z for approx 20 miles today before stopping at a set of lights, as soon as I had stopped I noticed lots of smoke blowing past me, it was coming out of the exhaust. It was quite a substantial amount - enough to make me close my window as it began to come inside the car, it soon cleared and by the time the lights changed it was completely clear and didnt smoke again for the rest of the journey... The smoke smelt, but I dont recall it being very blue in colour. Although it did all happen quite quick as I wasnt expecting it. Is this a sign of poor turbo seals? or something else? What options have i got? Thanks guys, Dan

Ceejay do you let your car reach normal temperature or do you just run it to circulate oil?? Cheers
