  1. Ah i see, so can be a little fiddly? what glue shall I use then??
  2. price the invertor up at your local dealer, thats a gem of a find! Yes 12v supply, connects straight into the cars loom behind the panelling in the boot
  3. My centre panel lights up, and that connector looks very familiar!
  4. Has anybody fitted these? Are they hard to do? How long does it take? Thanks, Dan
  5. Ah I see, thanks for that glad I made sure too now, which springs did you use Joely?
  6. More and more new cars I see are matt black, Ive seen a Jaguar X-Type in matt black, and I have also seen a matt black VW "towrag". IMO they do look good but still not as good as a high gloss black one would
  7. really...? http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m14b218s1748p7004
  8. Well I think your car sits just right, and the springs are readily availible at the right money, yea please bud if you dont mind...
  9. Wondering if you could do me a favour, I want some Tein S lowering springs and inderstand you have a set on your car. I dont want to buy them to find that my 17 year old standard springs have sagged to the height of the Teins anyway. So could you measure the distance between the centre of your hubs to the top/middle of your arch for me so I can see exactly how much they a set will lower my car. Thanks mate :duffer::duffer:
  10. I have a Mines one, it is extremely aggresive! use with caution
  11. ok thanks guys i will keep an eye on my oil level, very roughly how many miles should this cleaner take to fully burn all the crap off? and ease smoking
  12. Hmmm, I diluted the cleaner with a full tank of fuel today, and the smoke continues on full boost, also on tickover (after warming up/or after a drive takes approx 5 mins). Sometimes its the left exhaust, other times it the right exhaust and sometimes its both, and its a white smoke that has a definate smell of something burning. Could it be piston rings? Or is it likely to be turbos? Either way, what should I do? Where should I get it looked at? Thanks, Dan
  13. I sure hope so bud, really cant afford £1500 for turbo exchange at the moment :-(
  14. Put some commercial Unipart injector cleaner in my fuel, filled it up with super 99 and now its smokes on full boost, what looks to be like white smoke... Is this headgasket? Turbo`s? Turbo seals or something else?? Thanks guys, Dan
  15. I have a Panasonic Cam-corder, and it records onto Mini DV cassettes, how can I get the footage off this onto a DVD, or at least onto my computer? thanks, Dan
  16. Hmmm, I am very very tempted, yes please put some pics up, My Z is white and already has a illuminated centre panel so am very interested
  17. Joely, how does £60.00 for the pair sound? email me dannyjhunter@hotmail.com
  18. Me and a few friends were having a discussion tonight about how much one of these £600,000 supercars actually cost build. Not including all the research and development put into it, just the physical materials of the car... We came to some very, very different figures, ranging between £30,000 and £200,000, What do you guys think?
  19. I want to put some Tein S lowering springs on my Z, however, the specification says they lower the car 10mm at the front, and 5mm at the rear. If though, my 17 year old springs have sagged, the tein springs may not make any visible differance. The only way I can think to check this before I buy is to find out either; a: the distance between the centre of hub and the centre/top of arch on stock Z springs b: or, the distance between the centre of hub and the centre/top of arch on tein S springs Thanks for your help guys, Dan
  20. oooh cool, is there any knack to it or tips? or is it a case of just nail every gear?
  21. My 1992 UK spec twin turbo Z is going on a power run dyno on Saturday. What power should I expect to get at A. the wheels, and B. the flywheel? Its a standard car apart from a Mines ecu, decat powerflow exhaust, twin mushroom air filters, and an electonic boost controller running it at around 15psi thanks guys, Dan
  22. I gave my car a good run tonight, I was high up in the revs in 2nd, 3rd and 4th on full boost (14psi, Mines ecu, twin mushroom filters, decat exhaust) and must of been at it for about 6 miles. Once I stopped and was parking the car up I noticed whisps of smoke from the exhaust my wing mirror, whilst the car was cooling down I checked for smoke at the back but it had now stopped. After about 5 mins of idling I notices a small amount of smoke coming from underneath the car, it was the drivers side directly below the wing mirror. I decided to switch the car off. An hour later I started it and drove home, no smoke, and all seems fine. Any ideas where the smoke is coming from guys? cheers, Dan
  23. I recently purchased a Hitachi MP3 player for my holiday, supplied with it were some headphones. The quality of the MP3 player seems really good, however, even on full volume the music wasnt as loud as it was on full volume on my old Sony minidisc player. I tried my girlfriends headphones, which were supplied with a Sony, and they went a little louder, but not much. By purchasing a really good quality set of headphones from HMV or somewhere will this solve the problem? Or is the problem with the MP3 player? Also, can you buy headphones that have a seperate volume control? Thanks guys, Dan
  24. I found this http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=6661 Does anyone have any further info on them?
