Hi there this is my pro. A few days ago my car was ideling very low and i notice that one of my chrom air intake pipe had come loose,so i fixed it,once i did my revs shott up to 1500rpm and have stayed there ever since. Now when im driveing my power is up and down,so i was told could be my throttel sensor so i took one of my old engine and tried that,but made no diffrence same prob hight revs,took it to a garage had them have a look said the samethrottel sensor tried to adjust the sensor but best reading was 1500 rpm,so on the way home it was ten times worse looseing power then power comeing back and so on,and ive notice when i lossen the air intake pipe and have a wee gap the revs go down to normal,so my ? is after my long story is it my sensor which i can replace easylie or is this some thing else.:(

Hay bud my mate works for bmw,and he says dont try it,it will coast you a fortune and it would not be safe as the body on a 318 is not the same as a m3 and it would not handel the power.

Got layed of in jan and ive still not been able to find work :mad: so i need the money, cant get rid of the wife so the cars going to have to go,putting tax on the car at the end of the mounth and then she will be up for sale. it was a pleasure talking to people who had the same passion as i, and i hope to be back in the near future.:smash:

Hi guys first chance on the computer since the meet,well its was good to meet new faces and new cars,hopefully the next time wee do this there will be a few more zeds about,got to say the skyline's put us to shame with there turn out,so come on zeds fans dont be shy lol. and lets hope as well that the next meet is blessed with a wee bit of heat and sun,cause that wind was a tad cold, i think i may have a wee cold now ;-[, mind you im putting half the blame on john makeing me take the top off and driveing down the m8 lol once again good to meet every one and cant wait for the next one. P.S. by the way i already have blue neon in my car around the dash and floor, and thay look great hahahaha

just a nice clean engine bay and engine,cant get right down under all the hoses and cables,hence thought might be able to use a get wash.:)

Hi there 300zx enthusiast's. my ? is wot is the best way to clean your engine,i.e out side not in,i was going to get wash it with the engine running but seeing all those electrics, it just puts me of,so can you do it this way safely or is there another way of doing it,any advise would be greatfull just want to give the car a good clean every where.:dance::nana2::cool:

hi ya hows it going,been working all the time so not been able to catch any meets,then major trouble with the car had to replace the engine just befor xmass,which was not cheap. And now i think i may have a air bloke in my cooling system or think one of my water hoses at the back of engine is leaking or split,may be the plenum ive been told,got steam comeing out of the bonnet and under then out the back of car,after about ten mins of driveing looks like the thing is on fire :( getting no heat from my heaters just a night mare :rant: trying to get it sorted by sun so i can make the meet :cry:

hi guys just a wee ?,it first started about 2 weeks ago. my car had been sitting for a few days in that cold weather we had,i started it up na bother and drove to were i was going no probs,but did notice no heat from my heaters when i got to were i was going which took about ten mins,as i stopped lots of steam comeing out of the bonnet and water comeing out of the bottom of the engine by the sump.so first thought was frozen,left it for a few hours whent back in started na probs no more steam no leaks. Few days ago drive home,been driveing about 20mins steam comeing out of engine, notice juberly clip had moved down one of my water pipes from rad,so was looseing lots of steam and spraying engine with water,got it sorted,by the way temp gauge staying norm sitting half way or just above but no more. Driven the car 2day and does the same again as the first time,steam comeing out the top and water comeing out the bottom.so im thinking is this just a air block. Plus how much water should i be putting in a standerd rad for a n/a 92 no engine mods.any advise would be great :bow:

Hi there folks,as my oil pressure gauge and temp gauge arent working prop,and ive been told thay are pron for being unrelyable i was thinking of buying new gauges,and i was wanting to no wot are a good kind to get and were is the best place to put them,and should i get plasms,led,or any other,so many to choose from.any pics of placemnts would be nice so i could get a idear of how thay would look,by the way the car is a n/a :)
