Ive just realised the date for this. I think i might be working away at another power station, but its all good.......I'm taking my zed with me! I'll just convoy up to the meet with the guys from the North West (I'm going to work at Heysham, nr Lancaster) and see you all there!

See, i had a buyer set up. One of my mates said that he'd hand me £5k in my hand for it in may / june. But then i checked the shipping costs and to go from southampton the melbourne, it's merely £906!!! However, i've been told i can go on night shifts for a contant 10weeks if i want it, in april / may so that puts a good £11k into my pocket (more than enough to take her with me and a good amount in my pocket when i get there) so i think that the options are starting to sway towards keeping it and take her with me!

Wise words paul. cheers guys. Ive spoken to a guy from my work (who knows exactly what this car means to me!!!!) and he has said he would buy her just before i go. But, with the prices of todays zeds.....i wont get much for her! However, i'm having a look around to see what shipping costs are like. If it's gonna cost me about the same to ship her out there as it would to store her, i'd sooooooooooooooo much rather take her with me!

Well, the day has come that i have it to with this country! So, me and my mate are going to Australia for a year......possibly more! My problem is.......What do I do with my zed? Ive just put a fair bit of money into her (£14k in the past 10 months) and dont really want to sell her, but realistically, once i've been out there for a year, i cant see myself coming back! Do i put her into storage for a year and come back in a years time and deal with her? Do I sell her now and get another one when i get out there? Or just bite the bullet and get her transported out there (and back again if i dont like it!) Help Guys!!!!!! :cry:

Might sound daft but the piston rings were put in?

Id go (depending on dates).......but i'd meet you guys at the ring. If i was to go via the Hull-Rotterdam ferry it works out at around 730-something milles. it would double my mileage to meet up with you guys and go via dover.

Jimmy, im still in the middle of sorting out a replacement gauge for one of mine. I ordered a boost gauge and a vacuum gauge. DOH! But they are still available and i have there email address if you want it?
