Sorry to ressurrect an old thread but im looking at rebuilding my calipers, front and back. I've looked at Quavey's recommendation of: http://www.biggred.co.uk/nissanshop.html and it shows that they have both the front and rear caliper rebuild kits. My question is, are all rear calipers made by Akebono? I dont wanna order the repair kit for it to turn out i have a different kind of caliper.

Nope.....no performance whatsoever until your running "silly" power. Wouldnt always look for the cheapest option as some can leak to rough idle and other sorts of problems.

there are ones specifically made for the 300zx. There are different ones kicking about depending on where your wanting to put them. i.e. on the hardpipes in the engine bay or in place of the stock recircs.

Isnt that the same rear arches as Zogg's? AB Flug IIRC. What sort of spec is it running? Must be some sort of reason for the balance pipe between the intake pipes.

but surely if the joints are already knackered, by locking them out, you're just gonna hide the fact that they're faulty and they will eventually fail?

Driftworks were really quick when i had mine sent out. Just to be clear, is it the inner joins or the outer ball joints that have play in them? Im just thinking you'll still have issues come MOT'd time.
