nick. its not the easiest thing in the world to do at all, not after all that time. i think possibly the reason why it has not been brought to your attention is communication breakdown, plus scared of what either partys reaction could be, its a very very tricky situation for all involved and you cant turn the clock back. you really now need to make the most of what time is left, for both your sakes, and dont dwell on what cant be changed, otherwise you will drive yourself crazy. will leave it at that for now, but keep your chin up mate & good luck.

reflashing the software on ANY barred phone doesnt work. the IMEI number is stored in whats called the UEM chip on the circuit board. this has to be replaced & reprogrammed, which i wont go into as it is illegal & carries a heafty fine of up to £5k, or 5 years inside ;) . if it is barred, then its nothing more than a paperweight.

just look at the VIN number. import ones are less digits than uk.

s asking for a security code without a sim in, then the security code needs resetting. this has nothing to do with unlocking the phone to other networks. theres 3 different codes, 1) phone code (which your is asking for), 2) sim code, 3) unlock/simlock code. the vodaphone default code is 12345 unless changed by previous owner.

the policy has to cover the vehicle from the day you want to tax it.

that doesnt mean its made in australia though. you get what you pay for.

personally, i would pay the extra and get a branded one like apexi, greddy. at least you will get a quality item.
