  1. other than the 2 apache has said, i can only remember "micro adventures" & "danger island" off the top of my head. there were a few more though. :D
  2. im gobsmacked  . if there was ever a guy who could build a car from an image in his head, then hes the one. probably some were not to everyones taste, but never the less, you have to admire what hes done for custom cars around the world. maybe the first famous one he built, was the one that zz-top commisioned to be built, used in the "gimme all your lovin" video. RIP.
  3. oops. pmsl :nana2: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=107834
  4. ive bought these, but still not opened. will get round to fitting them eventually
  5. so what do you use mac ? ive got hold of a recon manual but want to change the oil. whats going to be the best to put in it ?
  6. mark. hes on msn regular so will send him a link to this thread.
  7. i see what you are saying, but an alarm is only as good as how its installed. if you install it within easy reach, then its made easy for theives. i have fitted alarms/immobilisers for over 15 years, so theres not one person on here that can tell me anything other than personal preference. im just telling you from experience. sigma & clifford have always been over rated & overpriced IMO, and you would not believe the amount of them ive thrown away. at the end of the day, if they want to take it, they will. ;)
  8. you must be one of the lucky ones then. its only recently that toad bought out sigma, so was not the same company at all.
  9. PMSL. or they could bring their own replacement wheel :D
  10. umm. your looking around the £400 mark then. looking at it realistically, it should take no longer than 6 hours to fit that lot. thats the alarm, cdl motor & microwave sensor. lets say £20-25 hr labour £120-150, alarm £120, cdl motors are £15 & dual zone microwave £35. thats £290-320 fitted. so the rest will be for fuel and markup on item. i personally think his price is on the high side, plus "sorry to all who have sigma" i definately would not touch sigma with a bargepole after the amount of these i have ripped off and thrown in the bin. TOAD or LASERLINE CAT1s would be my choice all the way. i paid £90 for my ai606 & £32 for a dual zone microwave, so you would be better off buying your own components off ebay/internet and have them fitted by someone in your own area, but make sure that they ARE VSIB REGISTERED FIRST. one more VERY IMPORTANT THING. regardless of what you maybe told by cowboys, a cat1 "IS NOT" a cat1 unless ALL components it comes with are fitted, this INCLUDES ULTRASONICS, A MICROWAVE, OR BOTH. if an alarm is supplied with just ultrasonics, you cant just have a microwave fitted and not fit ultrasonics, otherwise your insurance can refuse to pay out on a claim and void your policy if its spotted. SO BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
