  1. only problem is now, what do i spend it on first !!!!. interior leathered, 99 spec headlights, forged engine/tub upgrade ??? ohhhhhhhh the list is endless :smash:
  2. update after all this time. eventually all sorted. just recieved a cheque this morning for a little over £2.3k   :) :duffer:
  3. thanks si. just spoke to mark, going to send him a few pics and he will get back to me :)
  4. right. had a call from the wheels refurbishers above, and what a suprise, the dish is too deep and dont want to touch them. i then got in contact with another company who quoted me £1050 + vat, they send them to germany to be done with a 10 day turnaround but basically slagged every other refurbisher off saying they would bodge them, this put me off as i dont like businesses that slag others off when they probably dont even know them. anyway, i tried this place, http://www.wheelmedic.co.uk/ , which sounds very promising. having spoke to the guy, he seemed very sure he could do them with a positive attitude without reeling a load of BS off, but to be 100% sure would need to see them first, so hes going to call me to arrange for me to pop over to HULL with them. will keep you updated. markzx : he will be polishing mine but by the sounds of it he does diamond cut as well.
  5. hi rich. ive been in touch with this place http://www.prestigewheels.co.uk/ sent some pics to them for a quote. will let you know. they are based between buxton & stockport.
  6. look here for the lights : http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/index.php?cPath=21_24_57
  7. heres a pic of the rims now ive had the tyres removed, and before refurb. si, dont panic lol
  8. mine should hopefully be done this week. ordered new trims, targa rubbers and centre strip off luke today so will be over in notts one evening this week to pick them up. ive also been thinking of 99 spec headlights but not sure about blowing £1k on them. lol
  9. im sure they are the same 114.3 fitment. the only difference was on the non turbo they fitted 15in rims, the turbo 16in. the only reason i know is my mate got a non turbo spare for his z31 turbo and it locked the rear end up.
  10. coming on well chris :duffer:
  11. your welcome mate ;) . if you need anymore help, just give us a shout.
  12. the wheels have already been trial tested on the rear, and all is ok. the vents will be blocked off if i really dont like them, trust me. it wont cost me much at all. the bodyshop has jobs piling up with the amount of time thats had to be spent on mine, but all will end well in the end. :)
  13. have you adjusted the volume for it in the audio settings on headunit ?. if that doesnt work, you can still use a splitter on the rear output and adjust the gain on the amp to get the correct volume for the sub. i did have a sub running from it in mine but cant remember if i used the sub output.
  14. hi mate. from what i can remember, theres 2 sets of pre-outs for front and rear and maybe one pair for sub output, which iirc can be turned up and down via settings on the headunit.
  15. dont worry, i will. i have also done something different with the rear tailgate that ive not seen done before, will see what it looks like before saying anything though
  16. right. a little more info, and a few people wont be too happy. i called into the bodyshop today. with regards to the vents, its a lot of work now to fill them in correctly, and he shown me why. when you look above the vents the centre of them sticks out more than above and below. this would mean having to grind part of the centre out, strenghten it behind, refill it and smooth it off which is about another day & halfs work. for now they will be staying, if i dont get on with them then i will have them done at a later date, so all is not lost. at the moment, my concern is getting the wheels refurbished, which aint easy with them being 3 piece split rims, but we will get there. will keep you updated on any progress.
  17.  now thats just screwed things up, i needed those as well. was only yesterday the bodyshop asked about them as one of mine has a slight crack in it.
  18. thats one hell of a lot of silicone used there. i wonder if its been used for mobile bondage purposes. not sure whats going on with that front, is it a new type of horn
  19. welcome to the club. i hope you have a well paid job, or an understanding bank manager   . worth it though.
  20. you should have let me know matt. could have picked those bits up.
