Not this student!i actully dont drink... like not 1drop in 3years!! Would rather put loadsa money into the zed than drinking! Plus what the zed drinks in fuel n feeling the turbos kick in is so so much better!plus get uber kudos and respect at uni for having one of the best cars there if the best :D Thats much more Valuable and Satisfying

Stock Turbos :) Being a student i have a budget and im managing to scrape enough money together without any financial help or loans etc :) I was still amazed with the power and as a daily driver cant be running to big tubs ay ;) Im guna throw my shoe at him im so close i swear XD

Some of you may or may not know i took my Zed on a Student Rally to croatia and back! Made it home after fuel pump wiring melted but is in a bad way! Will be going into Zed world after being off the road for 6weeks for - New Turbos - Clutch - Fuel Pump - Brake Pads - Split Fuel Hoses - Idle Control Valve - Major Fuel Leak (2liters in about 5hours) Been getting to work and Uni on my Skates and getting fed up of the cold weather! Cant wait to have it back :) Should be before the end of the month!! Reason for turbos blowing was Boost controller lead came out thus it was useless and the boost tap was wide open (as EBC would reduce boost) so was hitting 1.5bar (22psi) and lasted around 4days!Obviously i didnt notice! Main reason for posting this is im bored in a lecture and i want slap my lecturer for being miserable and boring ROAR!! lol Enjoy!

up 2 you really! how confident you are in your engine and its Wear and Tear levels :) This is what i have Say low boost ie 90% of driving something low like 0.3bar so a little punch when you need it but not uber boost using uber fuel! Gain this is how quick it kicks up i have 15% so it is pretty quick getting to 0.3bar (5psi) Warning set to like 0.5bar (7psi) so if you really need to go around town :) High boost is for the other 10% Ie. fancy some B road fun or a few blasts before going home after a long day at work i have 0.8bar (11psi) (safe amount of boost as stocks tubs struggle after 14psi)! Put gain on full - 30% so it spools up quick and is a big enough puff from 3000 - 5000rpm as you dont want to rev too high :) Warning at 0.9bar just in case you go over the mark :) That should just about sort you out :D Hope this is helpful :) Ps. If your tubs explode not my fault XD hehe

Im from Bedford (At uni atm in Stafford) closest we had really was Grafham Water which was an ace day apart from the fact i could blimen find which car park the meet was and missed it Grr!!Think you should have a look in the SE Section as i believe thats where it will pop up! You drive the White SWB?Or a grey LWB?Just what i have seen around bedford :)

When i was doing full tank Motorway miles averaging 80-90mph (was in EU) i worked out 22mpg and thats on a TT not that i think it make huge difference on motorway as wasnt boosting often :) Hope this helps your decision!

Bloody unlucky there! When i was in Italy in the Zed i took my fob into the bloody Sea for 20mins before realising i had it in my pocket! Rushed back but all was well! Was Praying the immobiliser wouldnt stay on :) Good all is fixed with yours though :)

Just Feather the throttle!The power isnt going to go anywhere! Ease your way into it! Its still a huge buzz when you get used to it! Tyres are also a good idea! Dont rush into it and you will be fine!

WAHEY! I MADE IT BACK TO THE UK!!!Thanks LYMON the Slovenian Nissan Garage did exactly as you posted and bypassed it and that was able to get me 600miles to Monaco! Spent a night there and then 1000miles back Home!! But the car doesnt Go past 1500rpm since i started her up this morning but i will get that fixed among the Turbos, the Clutch and Oil Leak!!! It ended up being the Negative Wire to the Fuel pump which had burned out, we were all concerned as to why the Fuse hadnt popped but It seemed to work until this morning :) 3hours of labour at NIssan with 3guys working it 50quid! I was amazed! Just thought id keep you guys in the loop as to what happend!Will post some pics up of my whole trip if any1 fancies a peek! Many thanks again to all your replies! Munny

Some may know i am currently on a Student Gumball Rally from UK to Croatia and Back totalling 3000miles! I made it to Croatia no probs and a fab drive! (Even through Stelvio Pass, cooking brakes on everyones cars!)on the way back on our way to the Italian border through Slovenia we broke down :( Car wont start but we believe it is the Fuel pump as we took the filter off, fuel sprayed out (suspected blocked filter breaking pump)but when we crancked it no fuel at all came through! Fuse is fine aswell! Probably crappy Fuel we picked up at an ESSO garage in Croatia (Even though was a big garage)! Every fill up apart from that one was BP and Shell! So if somebody can provide me with the part number for the fuel pump so i can take it to the nissan garage we are in Slovenia as i suspect like most nissan garages that they willl not have the fuel pump that we require for the 300zx! OR if there are any compatible fuel pumps that we can use from popular nissans or other cars that we can use as time is tight being stuck 1500miles away from home!:shock: Any and all help is GREATLY APPRECIATED! Many many thanks people i hope i can get home soon in the Zed!On the plus side the weather is 30degrees and sunny so working on the tan :) Munny

Or could be sparkplug and/or coilpack! Just speaking from experience as these are always handy to keep an eye on! could be the connectors to them gone corroded or green! give them a clean and see if it improves! SImple fix if it is!
