  1. Yeah. I think ill have to do a bit of research on what i can get. Cheers guys
  2. You know what i did see those. They are a possibility I was thinking something more like this though http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-5-SERIES-STEEL-WHEELS-SET-4-5-STUD-/180669191793?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Rims_Car_Wheels_ET&hash=item2a10b91671#ht_500wt_1156
  3. No banger racing no. I just like the look, plus im a bit rat at heart. Ive had a telling off on here before about it. Ive found things like primera 16inch steel wheels, so its the stud pattern i need to match. Should have known that really.
  4. As title, i know i wont be popular for doing this, but are there any decent sized steel rims that fit the ZX TIA Mark
  5. Please tell me thats real and not photoshop. I would love that
  6. Excellent. Thanks alot. Ill get on that later. Thanks everyone
  7. Ok, so join the 2 large banjos together to make a loop and the 2 underneath are the pipes to the back so can come out? And the electrics can be left there and tucked out the way?
  8. But can i just leave some of those things blocked for now. How come i need the pump, has it got a line to this
  9. Ive got an NA rear axle so no system. but ive still got the actuator thing in the engine bay. Not needed so i was wondering what can be removed. Its still got the pipes dangling at the back of the car. If its not being used is it still in the fluid loop (will it have stuff in) What can i do with the excess wiring. TIA Mark
  10. Agreed. This was an internet legend. Then some tool thought he's make some serious money from it and ruin it for everyone
  11. Thanks. Ill try that. Although it seems to be that it cant find the drivers online, on the disk or on the computer.
  12. Ive downloaded the shareware version of conzult. Got my conzult unit Got my serial to USB adapter. But when i plug it all in and select engine check. The conzult unit flashes but the i get win error code 2 (cannot find drivers) The CD i got with the unit had lots of drivers stuff on it so i installed them all but nothing seemed to help. Most of it said no need as you have windows 7. How do you guys deal with this? Thanks Mark
  13. So i went to see what i could use today. They only had a big diffuser like you get on flouresent tube lighting and some opaque plastic sheets. So it looks like ill be spraying something. But ive had another idea, howabout spraying the back of the lens instead of the individual coloured bits. That way it would gice the overall smoke effect, but would still have the black line datail and gloss on the front.
  14. Yeah thats my worry. Im going to use the existing stuff as a good guide. Ill need to see what is available. The lights should still shine through a reasonable amount. Ill do some tests first. Ive always thought it was the reflector was the police issue and the visible light was the mot issue.
  15. Do i get a gold star :D Mine has it aswell, i like it as a reminder. I hear it on occasion when the exhaust isnt drowning it out.
  16. Sweet, glad one of my ideas is an original :D Ill get on it tomorrow
  17. I did think of that also. My original plan was to replace the outer plastic bit with smoked perspex vac formed. But it looks like its injection moulded and i wouldnt be able to get a good enough shape. Im a design student and here at uni ive got a plastics workshop, so this stuff would be easy to get.
  18. ok well the lenses are already out, gotta find a suitable spray and some suitable plastic. Should be able to find something pretty quick.
  19. That is a good point. I like the idea of having the shiny plastic on the outside still with the dark inside
  20. Yeah ive got the clear stuff at the moment, but one side has come away from its place. Ive always prefered tinted stuff to clear stuff :D
