  3. Ive just realised ive done it the same as i done my model months ago. Must have been printed in the brain
  4. Im refering to the 2 plugs that sit above the ICV, i assume there something to do with cam sensors does it matter what way round there connected. Ive just put it all back together and it idles spot on. Not tried to drive it yet though. cheers. Mark
  5. Tada!! Im having troubles with the injector and coil pack locations. Its running lumpy atm. But i think it looks pretty sweet
  6. SHINY!! did you take that picture out a window?
  7. I see what you mean, you probably only see 20% of it once its fitted
  8. I know its not too bad, i just dont have that sort of money atm. These are jobs ive wanted to do for a long time. Thought id wait till bad weather, was a little to early really
  9. Id love to have had it powdercoated. Think it came out well enough anyway. We'll see how long it lasts when its on the car
  10. Did you have your powdercoated blue?
  11. Good good, i will leave it for now then
  12. I cant even see it in the manifold, Can i not just leave that there. I assume that the egr opens up to accept gasses from the exhaust then flows it through when it needs it
  13. Well hopefully i wont have my engine out on the floor :D What colour did you do yours carmad
  14. well cut nothing yet. I was intending on cutting the bits that go under the plenum off along their length and block up the holes on the plenum. Do i need to block off the pipes ive cut or will the whole thing be inactive now?
  15. wehey that looks wicked. I dont think ill even bother with the exhaust cam covers, there never seen
  16. Cheers, yeah throttle bodies in black with the connecting bit in the middle red, as it flows off the plenum. ICV ill just bolt back on, like you said you cant see it.
  17. Yeah i had a bottle with a breather on the top of it in my renault 5 :D i just wondered on these as there more complicated
  18. Ok there is no way i can get that off the back. I cant even get a spanner on them. Ive removed all the vacuum pipework now. Is there any way i can just leave whats there and it'll all be fine?
  19. Ok so ive just got a tin of VHT brush on paint and slapped it on nice and thick. Got minimal runs (not that you'll see them its all buried) I think it looks pretty good. Ive just given the inlet covers the same treatment with gloss black, still drying but looks lush. Still undecided on what to do with the throttle bodies and ICV
  20. ok ill give it a go, 12mm are they
  21. I just dont want to risk snapping bolts seing as their already hard to get to down there
  22. Ive had a look at the egr now the plenums off and i think ill leave it in place instead of snapping bolts back there. But can i cut the side pipes down and leave it by capping the vacuum, lines, will it sit there and do nothing like that?
