Howabout putting a bead of silicone on the boot and then using the bolts to hold it in. Would that work? Ive just heard things about them being super fragile and i dont want to break one.

Do you think it'll be under much stress though. I take it the air flow goes past it thats why a spoiler goes there. Might get away with just normal velcro

Anyone used velcro on the perspex strip?
I was wondering if anyone has done this, surely a good velcro will hold it in and also it gives the option of a spoiler at a later date without snapping it getting it out. Mark

photoshop
its a matter of masking the colour over, but when its chrome you it either shows as black with no light or white with light and it needs to reflect the surroundings otherwise its just white. Its a bit of a chore to do chrome tbh :D

I see, i cant photoshop that in for you, but give it a go.

Chrome's a bit harder to do cus you need to reflect the surroundings, are you thinking of going similar to audi http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/200511/2001-audi-a4-cabriolet-41_1600x0w.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.topspeed.com/cars/audi/2001-audi-a4-cabriolet-ar321/picture1295.html&usg=__93kCittWAjJulfOT81QzwXsRnXk=&h=1200&w=1600&sz=304&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=wEZpQlEhRhO_NM:&tbnh=164&tbnw=205&ei=7t7vTZDyEMO28QOviZWuCQ&prev=/search%3Fq%3Da4%2Bcabriolet%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D699%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=980&vpy=136&dur=495&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=141&ty=149&page=1&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:0

Brown gunge in my radiator
I checked the antifreeze at christmas to make sure i wasnt in line to cracking the block, was all fine. Must have been like this for a while. Ill give it a good flushing.

Brown gunge in my radiator
I have this aswell. No leaks that i can see and there is no expansion tank. I thought it could have been someone put some rad weld in there before. Car never overheats either. If it is a rusty rad then its an excuse to buy an uprated new one :D

Blue Zed coming into Dustable
Ah brilliant, my mates have bought pipes from there in the past, good being local. Ill have to pop in with the zed at some point. see what hoses i could renew
-
Blue Zed coming into Dustable
Do you work in the sfs hose factory? That meet has turned into a corsa chav fest. Used to be them in white lion retail park, then we migrated to sainsburys, was full of renault 5's and starlets :D

Blue Zed coming into Dustable

What steel wheels fit
Oh ok. Gotta keep looking then i suppose
-
What steel wheels fit
yeah but 114.3 or 114, surely thats a different stud pattern does that fit because the tollerances are very small? I like those aswell. I didnt realise they were so thin

What steel wheels fit
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130524992138&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_845wt_1139 So would these fit. Stud pattern is different but i dont really understand what my car will take. Is it literally only 5x114.3 that it will take?

What steel wheels fit
Had a look for some on ebay, not surprising that they dont have any. I think im liking the idea of the suzuki wheels the best now. Ill save the steels for my daily :D

What steel wheels fit
Ive had friends in the past mash their alloys up on curbs and chunks have been taken out, cracks all sorts. Steel wheels ive only ever seen bent. If you hit something your not expecting the wheels to be reusable after anyway imo. I had a look on retro rides yesterday and got myself a good understanding of banded steels. Pretty much what i expected, but i dont know if ill bother with that route. Think ill just keep my eyes out for some already wide steels that fit. Or possibly go for the suzuki ones in the picture. :thumbup1:

What steel wheels fit
Ok cheers
-
What steel wheels fit
Thanks but they are a bit too much alloy wheel looking for my likings. I would ideally like some lovely painted banded 17" steels, but they are a bit pricey
-
What steel wheels fit
Yeah i dont want to compromise performance. These jeep ones are quite wide but they do look extremely flimsy in the middle.
-
What steel wheels fit
Ive just had a thought. Standard zed wheels dont fit on my car because i have skyline brake discs. These are 15's that wont work. Damn
