  1. Where do people get the EGR delete plates from? I can only find on the Z1 site Cheers Mark
  2. There the wheels i want on my zed :D Looks like fun that
  3. Ah, well ill see how it goes. Thanks Yowser (and everyone else)
  4. http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/80397.html The splash shield in there? I dont think water from below was my problem, but driving i suppose it wont help
  5. This is how my car came, i bought it like that, Whats the bit im missing, what does it look like?
  6. Who likes my fix. Water was falling between the bumper and nose pannel onto the filter (i done some tests with paper) So ive just cut this sheet out and put it over so that any water getting through now will fall around the filter. Hopefully this wont affect the sucking power of the filter, but it seems to have cured it.
  7. That would be great, im in a village called kensworth, next to whipsnade zoo
  8. I think most of the pipes are egr or pvc related, still unsure whats what and what i can remove. I planned to do alot of deleting whilst i had the space, i assume it would be easier to put back than it is to get off.
  9. I think someones already done the bypass, theres some hoses with nothing on, but im not sure how much they took out. It took me an hour to get to where i was and i couldnt believe how much there was on it. I was gonna take it off to paint it and paint the covers, ive got all the gaskets ready, just to much of a jesse to try it again now :D
  10. The first time i took a few hoses off and realised there was so much more to disconnect. Today i tried again and got everything i thought off, then realised theres stuff bolted underneath  How am i supposed to get all the underside back on (if i manage to get it off) on the refit. Ive put it all back together again now, but damn. It looks so easy on all the pics with the engine out.
  11. I tell you what, ive got my bonnet on spacers and it brings the front down slightly further that before now. That might not be creating the seal. But im sure it was doing this before i raised the bonnet aswell
  12. Just had a mini thunderstorm, the bonnet was on the latch but there is a fair bit of water on the plastic at the bottom
  13. Standard front bumper, ill get you a pic in a second.
  14. My dads not convinced thats the root of the problems either. I have now sealed the gasket to the maf and its in the airing cupboard, ready for tomorrow. When i took the filter and maf off the car a few drops of water fell from the intake pipe. Is there any moisture or condensation in the engine?
  15. hmm, thanks, i had my suspicions :) This was on when i bought the car, i wonder why they didnt use the proper one. Looks like im on the lookout then, Cheers guys
  16. This is the gasket im talking about. I really dont think its making a tight enough fit with only 2 bolts and it being circluar. Ive got that plastic pannel underneath aswell, It only happens after rain or a wash.
  17. No its a solid one, its even got the seal on the front and back of it, i dont know why its getting so much water in it. When i took it off water fell out of the intake aswell. Its got a crappy paper filter gasket between the maf and the filter. I think this could be the problem. Im gonna put it all back together with silicone sealant when its all dry and give it a go.
  18. Hi guys, everytime i drive my car after rainfall or a wash it gives me a huge jolt and almost like a fuel cut or something, stopping me driving into the revs, this got better as the journey went on. I was almost certain that the maf was to blame, but only because water was getting on it, and i thought that the journey dried it out as it went. Today i found this in my filter That was at the end of the run, i dread to think how much was in there at the beginning. Its an apexi power intake, not a cheap one i believe. Can i clean this and are they prone to letting in water, or will that be the paper gasket used to blame. Thanks guys Mark
  19. Hence why i done it to a £300 renault 5. I would only do it to a zed that wasnt good enough to save. People that take a minter and do it, no no no
  20. Was that at japfest 2? think i remember it on the z cars thing with the white one next to it
