My Halloween costume!
Likin the costume Steve-O...Assassin's Creed right? i once went to an Army Xmas fancy dress gig themed 'Bad Taste Tastes Good', the idea behind it being that you dress in bad taste. Of course there was the usual guys dressed as girls/nazis/terrorists...still...I won the prize being the only coloured guy in the whole place turning up dressed as a KKK Clansman! lol...good times.

Samsung Omnia any good?
nothing as yet!! Got some advice to get cylinder compression test done as it should point to the problem without the need to have the engine out but been busy with exams so not had time to really chase this up! plus I now have some gearbox issues AND the front brakes are gone with my wheel nuts being rounded off so not sure how I'm going to get the wheel off!! Do you still have a conzult? I may need to ask you for a favour soon as I'm done with exams in Nov!

Samsung Omnia any good?
:duffer: hahaha....oops...i said 5mp didn't I? Well...its good either way! Not a 'camera phone' by any measure but I'm always happy with the photos. Its more of a mobile pc though to be honest. As for the size...its actually the same as a N95! So not that big at all...and it does have a full qwerty keypad if you can't be bothered using the touchscreen. All depends on what you want (and can get on your contract) I guess...

Samsung Omnia any good?
i have a friend who has the diamond and apprantly the battery barely lasts a day so might not be good if you want to use satnav. I personally have the HTC Tytn II, which is a bit of a brick compared to most of the phones now on the market but it does everything I need. Plus it has 5mp camera, i've put topmtom6 on it (with audio commands) and is touch screen, etc....

flat tv's above rads
you try getting a decent wall bracket that allows you to bring it off the wall easily? I got my folks a 60" last xmas and stuck it over the fireplace....worked a treat and the insurance guys said it was fine...
-
flat tv's above rads
I know it used to mess with the new flat screens but I'm sure the units have sufficient heat resistance/dissipation nowadays. HOWEVER...I'm pretty sure that sticking it above a tv will go against your insurance and warranty cover should anything go wrong. Read the small print if I were you...

Bloody tax office! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Ha...I wish I could tell you mate! If you are serious though I'm sure I can get someone to call you ;) Otherwise, do what you're doing and get your employer to call up...more weight and all that though not sure if the numpty on the other end will realise that!

Bloody tax office! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
lol...sorry to hear of your misery bud! HMRC are pretty bad but they're just as good/bad as any other government department - not after profit = not as tightly run endevery of the day! Most of the Inspectors and senior staff are fine but then the grunts who do the bulk of the work are basic trained part timers. Can't really blame anyone though I guess but it doesn't help that the Govt rewrite the tax rules every chance they get! Just keep at it I guess....OR....employ an advisor to sort it all for you. Really depends on how much time, money and effort this is costing you. I know that with my firm the fact that we're big and well known gets things done a little quicker. Plus agents have dedicated phone lines now so we can get through very quickly...
