try phoning you local dealers and ask to speak to someone in their service department ( preferably not the girl on the reception ) My mate had to do this for the timing settings on the 2Ltr version as there was no manual available for this car ............ they were very helpful .. surprisingly .. worth a phone call

Shouldn't be a problem moving car around without the box in... when i did my gearbox there was no rear engine mount just the ones either side of engine..( plus the one on the box ) i think the sheer weight and lack of anywhere 4 the engine to go plus i don't think you will be pushing the car very fast.... best of luck
