Just a thought ....You should have nipped the flexi brake hose to stop the brake fluid coming out... would have saved you having to bleed all the brakes if the master cylinder emptied....

Long time to go with no contact... sounds to me like she just wants someone to tag along on the day.. Having said that she might really want to catch up with you...after all life is too short.. Two of my old neighbours (female) went on one of these so called pampering photoshoots.. cost them £150 each and what they each got for that was 2 x A4 size photos and 15 slides and a slide viewer.. They got dressed up and made up to the extent it didn't even look like them in the photo... Lol....... :slap: But they had fun on the day and they didn't have to buy the photo's.. so if you fancy it knock yourself out and who knows you might re-kindle that friendship..

Got a cat back exhaust system from them no problems..... excellent quality and finish............. :dance:

Your description is a bit vague but assuming your cars a manual and the noise your referring to is engine noise then its possible your clutch is slipping..
