  1. Sounds like the gearbox has let go and locked up. Paul
  2. Ignore my previous answer, this will make your Z handle just like a GTR. :whistling: .
  3. No advantage for normal road driving, may help if you do some track day driving. Paul
  4. Glad to help Graham, let us know how you get on with them. Paul
  5. Hi Graham, this might help you, http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Nexen/N8000.htm Paul
  6. You also need to flush the cooler and pipe work.
  7. Numpty's that cut in front of you and then brake hard. Drivers that leave it to the last second to get off the motorway.
  8. ^^^^^^^ he also lives on the Isle of Wight.
  9. Let us know how you get on with them. here's there web site. http://www.shepherd-neame.co.uk/ Paul
  10. Hi Allen, not saying these are better than any other real ale but try Shepard & Neame it's a Kentish brewery, Spitfire, Bombardier and Whitsable Bay are just three beers from them. Paul
  11. If you can flush the cooler lines out so much the better. Paul
  12. A ramp would be best but you can reach it if raised on axle stands, you will only get about 4ltrs of oil out of the sump as the rest will be in the toque converter and the gearbox chest and pipe work. Paul
  13. Fill it from the left side rear as you look at the engine from the dipstick tube, the gearbox should have a sump plug to drain the oil from. you could try and take the sump off and clean the oil strainer. Paul
  14. No mate, got some other stuff planed for that weekend, but think I'll make it a must for next year. Paul
  15. Where do you live, someone may be willing to help you. Paul
  16. I think tomorrows crap, getting better after that. Paul
  17. Check the spark plugs, mine started to missfire the other week and this was the problem. Paul
  18. Is it light at that time of day lol, going to a James Bond themed party tonight so not sure if I will make that time, you could call in there on the way pass but if I'm not there don't hang around for me. Paul
  19. Yassa, what time are you going to this, if it's not to early we could meet at the esso garage on the A2. Paul
  20. Most modern semi synthetic and synthetic branded oils will deal with the temps that these cars produce under fast road driving conditions without the need too go through a cooling down process, As long as you have the correct grade of oil and no other cooling problems. As for warming up no more than 2500rpm for the first 20 minutes normally gets everything nicely warmed up. Paul
  21. You could try a slightly larger jet 1.2mm may help. Paul
  22. If it's fitted, I'm sure it has to work and tracking is not part of the test. Paul
  23. Not totally unmolested with that boot spoiler either. Paul
  24. Just had a look at mine and it seem to be a self contained unit with no other pipes connected. Paul
