  1. ah yes of coarse, how stupid of me not to think of that Mark.
  2. How do you get that Z to hover like that Jeff.
  3. 1 pound, they had you right over with that mate. should have gone to the 99p shop lol.
  4. Any branded carb cleaner should do it, try not to let it get passed the butterflies, use a tooth brush to remove stubborn dirt, not sure about the position of the butterflies. Paul
  5. Totally agree with your first part, but air filters don't change the shape of a car so you have one of those lol. Not many of these cars are coming into this country now, many are off the road never to see tarmac again ( not having a dig at anyone in this situation ) times are tough and these cars are not the cheapest to run and maintain. Plus with the dreaded tin worm these cars are slowly vanishing from our roads plus the few cars involved written off in accidents. How many 300's in the country do we have any numbers. How many being broken at any one time? Am talking B*llocks, this does not require an answer lol
  6. I'm with Alex, with all plastic that gets stuck to the 300zx and the boy racer image it depicts I'm sure anyone that doesn't know the car would think it's a kit car. So how will it ever build up a following with the true enthusiast. Maybe theirs the tuning side to the club and theirs a side that likes the 300zx as it came from Nissan. Paul
  7. Someone offering a reconditioning service for some of the standard Nissan Parts might be useful, most of us can change the part but not all have the means to push bushes and bearings out. Paul
  8. Glad it was an easy fix. Paul
  9. What about getting one of those dent doctors to see if he can match the paint, if he can touch it in you will never see it. Paul
  10. Hi Terry, did you forget the parts I wanted you to salvage, no problem if you did. Paul
  11. It is possible that the welding has caused damage to either the relay or ecu. Paul
  12. Mike at MJP or Jefftt both in the traders section. Paul
  13. It could be that you have brake pad wear indicators that make a noise to warn you that the pads are getting low. Paul
  14. Looks like a holiday home lol. Very nice man cave. Paul
  15. To be honest it's a result for both of us I get the parts I want from the car and terry gets the shell, I could never have sent this shell to the breakers, from what I've seen so far it is truly rust free ( won't know the full story until the engine is stripped out ) but it's looking promising. Looking forward to the end result from Terry. Paul
  16. Your right Graham she always was a good looking car and i'm glad that Terry has got her, would of been a shame for the shell to go for scrap, Paul
  17. It's nice to know that she will live on and not find herself on the scrap heap, I will continue to take the parts off that I want, give me a call when your ready to collect. cheers Paul
  18. Good luck mate. Paul
  19. Thanks jaffa, I feel an upgrade coming on:thumbup1: Paul
  20. Just renewed my subs for another year, the best £10.00 I'll spend this year. Paul

  23. Hope you didn't mind me using your pictures, read the whole diary and was well impressed with what you did. Paul
