Any branded carb cleaner should do it, try not to let it get passed the butterflies, use a tooth brush to remove stubborn dirt, not sure about the position of the butterflies. Paul

What the hell is with the parts market for the z32
Totally agree with your first part, but air filters don't change the shape of a car so you have one of those lol. Not many of these cars are coming into this country now, many are off the road never to see tarmac again ( not having a dig at anyone in this situation ) times are tough and these cars are not the cheapest to run and maintain. Plus with the dreaded tin worm these cars are slowly vanishing from our roads plus the few cars involved written off in accidents. How many 300's in the country do we have any numbers. How many being broken at any one time? Am talking B*llocks, this does not require an answer lol

I'm with Alex, with all plastic that gets stuck to the 300zx and the boy racer image it depicts I'm sure anyone that doesn't know the car would think it's a kit car. So how will it ever build up a following with the true enthusiast. Maybe theirs the tuning side to the club and theirs a side that likes the 300zx as it came from Nissan. Paul- What the hell is with the parts market for the z32
Someone offering a reconditioning service for some of the standard Nissan Parts might be useful, most of us can change the part but not all have the means to push bushes and bearings out. Paul- Coolant temperature gauge
Glad it was an easy fix. Paul- Wheel Woes!
What about getting one of those dent doctors to see if he can match the paint, if he can touch it in you will never see it. Paul- what a mess
Hi Terry, did you forget the parts I wanted you to salvage, no problem if you did. Paul- fuel pump stays on
It is possible that the welding has caused damage to either the relay or ecu. Paul- Cambelt Kit
Mike at MJP or Jefftt both in the traders section. Paul- Not completely new.. but been gone a few years
Welcome back,- Brake Advice
It could be that you have brake pad wear indicators that make a noise to warn you that the pads are getting low. Paul- Garage progress
Looks like a holiday home lol. Very nice man cave. Paul- 99spec 300zx
To be honest it's a result for both of us I get the parts I want from the car and terry gets the shell, I could never have sent this shell to the breakers, from what I've seen so far it is truly rust free ( won't know the full story until the engine is stripped out ) but it's looking promising. Looking forward to the end result from Terry. Paul- 99spec 300zx
Your right Graham she always was a good looking car and i'm glad that Terry has got her, would of been a shame for the shell to go for scrap, Paul- 99spec 300zx
It's nice to know that she will live on and not find herself on the scrap heap, I will continue to take the parts off that I want, give me a call when your ready to collect. cheers Paul- The work begins
Good luck mate. Paul- Rear ARB's
Thanks jaffa, I feel an upgrade coming on:thumbup1: Paul- Renewed

Hope you didn't mind me using your pictures, read the whole diary and was well impressed with what you did. Paul - What the hell is with the parts market for the z32
