Hey Lisa,Well done and the best of luck with all the organising .I must say that it was you guys who got me really into the Zed world and helped me decide to spend £4k on the red Zed last year(!)In retrospect , I would not have done anything different;have met some great people and had some laughs.seen some great drivers too(Paul SWZ!!!...Wow300 too 'til he reved it a bit too hard) Good on ya all

Tyres are fine ,wheel bearings are ok...Me drifting Lisa???I don't do that kinda thing to my car (only i would ,given half the chance, to yours hehehe)I'm going to take it out and test again ..see what happens

Hey and thanks for getting back with ideas... I disconnected the battery for two hours and detached the scart off the back of the ECU;reconnected the lot and was pleased to find this process has made the car run really smooth.did not touch any thing else,tho was cautious not to tighten ECU connection too tight..perhaps they are not tight enough?

Count me in please..looking forward to it..just did the indicator mod where you pull out the orange bit and go and buy yourself two new bulbs COOL!!

Hi there..this is odd! Reset ECU and took the z for a drive ..All very good ;then, on a straight;very strange ...gave it some boost and suddenly the car is steering from the back and front just for a second I'm creeping sideways at 70mph!!...slowed down and stopped ,checked all wheels and tyres..headed off again and then again at 65mph did the same thing only this time on a corner!!Life of its own ...Any one with any ideas ..this car has never done this before ????? I 've also found it can be real trcky when you buy used bits described as "perfect ".Happened to me when I bought second hand uprated tubs and power guage earlier this year;seller thought that they were great,whereas the power guage is now being replaced (because it never worked)and the tubs needed work doing to them so it was incredibly frustrating and a real double bind..caused a real bad feeling between me and the seller as i worked a way around the problem..however;dust settles eventually and now I hold no animosity towards the seller ..As he said at the time the items were working on the car....However I DO reckon that when selling used goods If the goods turn out to be defective on professional install and it can be proven then the seller ,should expect the buyer to ask for some small compensation

Yeah! lets just get this straight:Red Zeds were the nissan designer teams idea of the perfect colour for the Zed..they considered the colour to show off the lines of the car to the optimum plus give the car the true sporting look they were after..look in any photo shoot;it simply can't be denied!! I know you lot out there have got to drive a car of some description and we all know its got to be a Zed and if you find a good one ,it honestly won,t matter after a while if you couldn't find a RED one;you will get used to it eventually whether its blue ,silver,black(some actually have grey Zeds??!!) or whatever...and after a lllong time you will even convince yourself that the colour of your Zed is actually not as bad as you first thought...some go that stage further and try and convince others around them that they have the best colour!!! Incredible and hard to believe but stangely true ..go to any meet and you will hear people hallucinating wildly on this subject..ie; some think black is a colour!!HaHaHa

I have got to a few Z meets and it is so cool to meet up with the Z people ..see their cars,swap advice,trade and have a great drive and a good time...I reckon it would be even better if more Z drivers came along and got into it..these cars are spectacular in a line up and can't get over how unique each car is;even when same colour ,everyones done something different...These cars like long distance drives ..Hit the open road and get to the meets ! Hi guys and girls, this sounds like a good meet...look forward to it and seeing you all there..

If the MAF is failing what sort of symptoms does this typically throw up?My car is very lumpy on idle and just touching the accelerator it's all over the place and lumpy in lower revs ..over 3000 rpm it straightens out and seems to be random (better at times than others)Would a failing MAF also affect an o2 reading?
