  14. Just fixed a crazy shudder which went through car (turned out the sub frame was loose) now got a problem when car run for 20 mins or so. First i hear a sqeaking sound from front brakes then soon i feel a binding/sticking from the front brakes and slight judder through the steering wheel..this doesn't go away once it starts...Any advice gratefully recieved
  15. As WOW300 said ...Took it along to wheel and tyre fitters ,put it up on ramp and found it was the sub frame rattling around !!! Deadly..Glad we found that one out ..Cheers all for your suggestions and thanks Dave for the torque settings ..Now fixed

  17. Fellow Z owners, Have you come across this one.? Recentlym, (this hasn't been happening for long) I have had a strange intermittent fault occure after driving for a while .The fault starts and then goes away...and then comes back in again..weird! Innitially it feels like the kind of vibration you get when your wheels are out of balance and then it gets really bad and you can not just feel it but you can see the whole car shaking. When I get this symptom happening I've slowed right down and even at 10mph you can feel the shake in the steering. Each time this has happened I have found a place to stop and checked the tyres for any thing obvious (ie bulge in tyre wall ,side play in bearing ,loose wheel lock nuts ...Nothing found! This is puzzling me because ,as I say it goes away and the drive is great;nice and smooth again ..then comes back in ,say 20 mins later with a vengance. When this is happening braking is wild with big shudder/side to side. ANY IDEAS ?? Something that may relate is intermittent speedo not working from time to time? Important to bear in mind ;normally the cars drive is smooth and braking smooth and even this symptom happens randomly .Appreciate any help or information as need to get this sorted;my Z is currently my daily drive .Cheers all Rich
  18. Hey all, and thanks for the replys. This hasn't happened suddenly , just gradually become the end of the tyres.Hi Old Zed ,what sort of moneys involved with adjustable camber arms?

  23. If you look within all the answers are there for everything.Good mental and physical health to all of you
  24. First T-cut and carefully take it back..do it by hand then you will not go too far,do a square foot at a time and you will really see what you are doing. On deeper scratches go along the scratch until you get the sides down and then across.Whole car to cut back should only take an hour if ya get in to it.Then, next step Colour Magic by Turtle Wax to polish the fresh surface up..then stand back and go Wow!This combination has really worked for what was a faded and fairly scratched Red. I keep it looking good by washing it with a cheap wasnwax and chamois it off.. and Colour magic it say every 4 washes. Also I have found that taking a small corner of cloth and soaking it with WD40 and wiping over the rubber strips and grey bits keeps them from cracking and they always look great..Hope this helps and does the same for you.Cheers and enjoy the shine !
