Saw yo on Vauxhall Street heading out of town I was Red Zed heading into the Barbican .Looking good ...

.....and if they do :would these be the prefered over standard autos?

Gradually i'm getting there....Thanks for the imput guys..So;Hybrid T25/t28 should bolt straight in?

Does look like a mix..any advantages of these hybrids over the autos?

HI ;more questions on Turbos.. Hybrid T25/T28 Turbos :Are they any good to replace standard Garrets on a Z32 manual? Are they able to be fitted straight on? Would these Hybrids be better in any way to standard auto turbos?

Bloody strange it was just like that!! Car fine on the run back ...Yesterday took it fast round Plymoth A38 ..quick and fast run ;no miissing at all AND i could get in and out of the Z noproblem IT IS tranced out ,there is no doubt :cool:

A BIG thanks to you guys for the advice..and I would have gone for them too.That is; I've just found out that the Turbos in my Zed are likely to be upgrades (!),type not yet known so it's off to the Mechanic next week to dismantle and then perhaps ,send them off for recon....Strange twist of events because i was moments away from buying the autos...

I need some advice on purchasing turbos for z32 manual uk...I have been offered two turbos (new) at a good price and they are auto turbos;my car is manual.Question being :Is getting these a good idea ? any one with experience on how the auto ones will go?Also to consider;my other turbos seals went due to straight through aftermarket exhaust fitted,so these new ones are going to contend also with the same lack of back pressure...with the auto ones being smaller will they cope/decrease performance?.....Any advice or views gratefully listened to as I don't want to keep the vendor waiting,actually need to move rapidly on this.Thanks again

Would like to say a big thanks to every one for a great day out.Cool to meet you all and take in all the cars.Brilliant shots of the line up;thanks Jon and Zogg.That was our first meet and for sure we will try to get along to others.We also have some cool shots and some great overtaking videos of the way back....not to mention Dave driving Lisaf's spectacular smoke em up vid...Will send up soon...I think I've Zed it all...

:( yes,nice one Guys;I'm going to immediately do the PCVs and then see.....Must say I thought I was out of trouble for an hour or so

This is really weird....I started up the Z after days of it just sitting there waiting to go to the mecanics for suspected turbo seals problem(after having exhaust fitted it smoked real bad)and this time it didn't smoke AT ALL!! Couldn't believe it ..Took it out on the highway with mate following ;drove it hard ,fast take off...nothing to be seen ,just a bit of soot on extreme acceleration...let it sit idling for 10 mins,nothing;no smoke at all!! Then later sitting in the drive way it starts smoking again (a lot)So what do you reckon??Turbos are working perfectly(as in very quick)and this smoke business just seems to be random.....could this be indicative of the PCV valves?? as first suggested? All advise greatly appreciated as next week its due to go in and be worked on ..Cheers

How much money are you looking at for reconditioning the turbos or replacing them and all the the fitting ? Love to know what i'm up for and the best way around it..gotta get on to it quite fast as the car is needed

Some more information... The car does not smoke on start-up. Runs clean for afew minutes but as soon as she warms up... LOADS of smoke!! Giving it a rev... even more! Left slightly more than right (fills the street with smoke) does this sound typically like turbo seals?

Hey there..just had a stainless exhaust fitted by Longlife..did a nice job..will post some pics up later! yeah ,looks great ;straight through no cat(didnt have one before)nice sound,all good BUT...now the Z smokes..didn't before :is this ECU matter? (smoking on idle)

Hey there..any one give me advice on this....mine is Z32tt Uk long wheel..exhaust on it is holed on front pipes(just before small return pipes going back to flexi hose) so need to replace whole exhaust from manifold brackets...Quoted £700 for Longlife;includes 2 flexi pipe..straight through to 18" round backbox with round 4" tips..all fitted........What do you reckon??Any good ?? Will it do the job,treat the car right and sound not too loud? Appreciate any advice..kinda urgent as exhaust is shot and needs it quickly...cheers Richie
