how hard are these to change and how much are they? the nearside doesnt look too bad once the battery is off but the offside looks a bit awkward from the top i havnt checked access from underneath yet. the reason i want to change them is im still having an overfuelling problem even with the boost leaks sorted, i know they are thirsty cars but im only getting around 150miles per tank and its not massivly modified and the back of the car keeps getting covered in black soot which is a nitemare to clean off :headvswal

been told they have it in place now, havnt rang to make sure yet though

nah always keep me eye on them, what would you lot advise? coilovers or just a decent set of springs nd shocks? the car isnt an everyday driver but does get used every other day and for 1/4 mile runs and probably some track days if i can eventualy trust me new brakes :rolleyes:

how much would i be looking at for a set of half decent coil overs?

tyres are 245/45/17 toyo proxes in good condition, will be fitting 255/40/17 when they die

since solving me boost leaks i have an annoying problem, when the boost comes in in 1st and 2nd gears it causes wheelspin, which im not too bothered about but when it spins it feels like the rear wheels are bouncing off the road,seems to be worse in the dry, i have had the car in the air at work and there isnt any play in the suspension, could it be time for new rear shocks or even upgrade to coilovers? :confused:

something similar happened to my mate a couple of months ago, was coming off a roundabout onto a dual carriage way in his focus when a pr!ck in a 4x4 cut him up and clipped his wing in the process, the crumpled wing then was forced into the tyre causing it to shred, he was too busy trying to control his car he didnt get a chance to get the reg, it really boils my p**s knowing there are people out there who do things like that and its probably the same type of person who would drive off after knocking somebody over :headvswal im really wound up now things like this really get to me :rant: they should all be stuck in a room till they go mad with hunger then throw some knives and forks in :rant: :headvswal

mines the same, i've had the clocks out and cleaned up all the connections etc and its stll the same, sometimes my mileage counter stops workin too

mine lets off loud bangs sometimes when im not even caning it, just low rev gear changes will let off a loud bang every so often, exhaust has to be warm though, and its a 3" system from the turbo back :D i have an agressivly tuned chip to fit so cant wait to see what happens then :D
