Well I'm going to book it inot SE to get the work done on it. However I can live with it for a little while longer well at least until after Billing. Only problem is I seem to be using twice as much fuel as everone else. Half a tank got me 79 miles yesterday and I wasn't even booting it.

Paul, The engine flush didn't make too much difference as far as I can see, but the upping the idle slightly is much more comfortable now. Random compression generator isnt that a bloke who sits in the corner going lets say ......130lbs for that one.....etc is it ??? Well these were the results I got back from the garage who said I needed a new engine. 1 = 75lbs 2 = 175lbs 3 = 50lbs 4 = 75lbs 5 = 75lbs 6 = 125lbs These were the results that we got ourselves (me & PaulC) today 1 = 150lbs 2 = 125lbs 3 = 100lbs 4 = 105lbs 5 = 150lbs 6 = 120lbs Paul also ran a cylinder leakage test for me, seems like the pistons and Rings are fine, the exhaust valves are also fine, the headgaskets is also fine, the inlet valves could use replacing at a later date. So do I need a new engine :D Hell No !!!:D. Do I need a little bit of Engine Wok and some new Valves Hell Yes :D. Still I'm well chuffed :D Thanks for all your hard work today Paul, once again I owe you big time.

Ok, so I've started a riot :rolleyes: Richard, Right the only reason I started this poll was because you said that you wanted each of us to send a mail to you stating whether or not you wanted the Dials logo. I thought it would be better if we could see the results ourselves rather than just taking your word for it. I mean we don't know you from Adam. Now I may be wrong here and I really hope I am, but I suspected that you had no intention of removing the logo form the Dials in the first place, that is why the secret e-mail ballet took place. I thought I would make it easier for everyone to see where the majority vote lay, including yourself. Like others, I also understand you are a business man and I don't blame you if you get p|ssed off with it all and give up. But at the end of the day, you did say we'll have a vote, the "majority rules", so making the vote to keep the dials or loose them was your idea. I thought by making the vote results public knowledge would put an end to the debate and kick the group buy off. But now in my eyes you are turning nasty and saying the votes don't count, the logo stays. According to this public vote it was only 4 people who didn;t mind, the rest wanted something different. I personally would have prefered the Dials without the logo but would have bought then even with the logo. But it's come to the stage now where I don't want either now, becuase I really can't be fooked with all this. We have a saying here in the UK "The customer is always right", the only problem is you have to listen to the customer first to find that one out. And befre anyone tell me to give the guy a break. I was a potential customer and the views I am expressing here are mine and mine alone. So as far as I know, I still have the right to say what I feel. Good luck.

Right this group buy is just going on for far too long and I really want them before billing. Can we just get this sorted. Ok, the design has been finalised with the exception of one thing which is the Dials logo on the speedo. This Thread is all about the logo nothing else. So please don;t start replying with I think this would be nice in Red or can we have the number in bold or I want 240 mph on the clockes etc. For those of you who want a set please vote. If you don't want a set please don't vote, simple as that. Well I don't mean to sound big headed. But I know my wiring is good. :D Run Traclog on it a few days ago and the wheel speeds are being picked up. It seems like these boxes can be a little tempremental at times. But when they work they are Bliss :D We'll see what I get with a different box plugged in.

The only thing they found was the radiator was full with sludge, so I need to give this a good old flush. Does this say anything to you ?. I had a new water pump and thermo as well as a flush in October, why would it be full of sludge ? But I'll be taking it to someone I know I can trust just to double check these readings and hopefully have a cylinder leakage test as well. Funny thing is I have been offered a fully working '93 Jap Manual TT for £2.5k I may buy it and swap the engine over and other parts I need and break the rest of the car. And before anyone starts with the I'll have the manual gear box etc. I said may buy it.

Really appreciate that Andy thanks, but I've just heard form the garage and it seems I need a new engine or a rebuild so I don't think my car will be going anywhere unless it's urgent. I think I'll have to wait until next weekend when I can borrow Ajay's before I fit it for her. :rolleyes:
