    The ECU diag will only tell you when the signals are not present from a sensor. It will not inform you when the signals are incorrect. The fact that you can not find the det sensor harness connector is a bit of a worry. But all the det sensor doe sis listen to the engine, if it detects detonation it will limit you to safety boost until you turn the ignition off (this will reset it). Apart from the det sensor picking up detonation this is probably the result of your main problem. Lets start with the easy stuff. A)If it is missing at low revs but not high revs I doubt that it a fuel related problem. so we can rule out coil packs & injectors. 1a)May still be worth giving these a clean, but be warned... 13 year old injector harnesses have a habit of just giving up at a slight touch, so be prepared to rewire them all if need be. 2a)Clean the temp sensor connector which will be the yellow connector between the radiator and the plenum. 3a)Clean the TPS connector which will be sitting on the passenger side of your engine. Bolted to the side of your plenum/Throttle bodies. B)I would do the following. Find out if there is a member with a conZult near you. If so ask them very nicely and buy lots of beer ;) and they will run a diag on your car for you. C)If the car is rougher when cold, it may be a mechanical problem rather than an electrical problem. 1c)Take off the balance bar and remove all the coil packs, attach a compression testers to cylinder 1, get someone to sit in the car and put their foot all the way down on the accelerator then crank the engine for 5 seconds. Note down the PSI reading. Do the same with the rest of the cylinders. You should be looking around the 140 mark per cylinder. D)If you find low compression on any of the cylinders, you may need to do a cylinder leakage test. Doubt you'll have one of these yourself, so you'll need to take it to a garage that has one.
  3. But this is exactly what you are doing. He is taking one away and then saying do you want to guess again !!!. Therefore you got a 50/50 chance.   6. no it's Wrong !!!! The chances of it being right are 1/3 up until the point where B is eliminated. Then A and C become 1/2.
  7. The chance of it being C in the first place was also 1/3 so again what has changed ?. The fact that B is no longer an option ?. If this is the case then A's chances will also increse bringing us back to the 50/50 senario. no I wouldn't, I'd stick with A. Because the only thing that has changed when you were told that B is not correct is that you now know it's either A or C. No you are not, this is where you are getting confussed. You only get the option of swapping after you are told that B is empty. Therefore you only have 2 choices. If you were told you could swap before knowing B was empty then you would have the choice of B or C of which each would still be 1/3.

  12. PANTS That's complete pants !!! So you are saying that if he swaps to Box C he has more chance of winning. That's complete Kak mate. Whether he changes his mind or not of course he has a better chance of winning if you take one of the boxes away. Why would changing from box A to C increase his chances of winning ?
  13. Now you are just guessing LMAO!!! :D :D Oh what fun, I've loads of work to do and haven;t done anythng all day. Oh well, I'll just have to catch a flight tonight and travel round the globe anticlockwise at 1,000mph and then I'll have another 24 hours to get it done ;)

  15. Depends... On paper, when the contestant first selected the door he had a 33.3% chance of winning the price. Now that he has removed one of the choices, he had a 50% chance of winning. Realistically.... He is asked if he wants to swap after one of the doors have been eliminated, so it makes no odd's, whether the swaps or stays the same. He still only has 2 doors to choose from so the chances of sinning at this stage stay the same (i.e. 1 in 2) However if you mean does he have a better chance of winning from the start (i.e. 1 in 3).Then yes it will be better, as the chances of swapping to 1 other door which will either be nothing or a prize (i.e. 2 choices) is a better chance than 2 other doors which will be either nothing and nothing or nothing and prize.
  16. So, how about this. If you chased left London and chased the sunset in concord that travelled 1,000 mph. You would be travelling fast enough around the planet to hold the sun in the sunset position. Which brings me to this. If you continued to travel at this speed causing the sun to appear to hold position then landed back in London, would it still be the same day ?. Of course not, but it makes you think doesn't it ?

  18. I think... the slower you walk the more rain your will accumulate, regardless of rain velocity or mass. If you run you will get more frontal wetness (oh, suits you sir). It may be easier to measure it like this. Take a large bowl.... walk slowly for 1 minute in the rain, holding the bowl above your head. Measure the contents, then use the same bowl and the same rain fall and hold the bowl in front of you. Now since you are running, my theory would be you would need to tilt the bowl at an angle in relation to the distance in speed from a slow walk to your speed of travel. This should collect the same amount of water if you could somehow eradicate accidental spillage or excess splashing.

Now I would totally agree with that... but I feel that this would be entirely true if you were travelling on land, but would the hypothesis still hold it's own if you travel above the earths surface ?. I think this is the point that others are arguing. So who said ... the same amount of time to fly in either direction ? and who says... quicker to fly anti clockwise ? and who says (I doubt this one very much) quicker to fly clockwise ?

  24. Those of you who say there is a difference..... are you saying that flying a plane at 30,000 feet will be high enough to reduce the earths gradational pull enabling the flight time to decrease. Ok, the moon is higher than 30,000 feet, but the tides are controlled by it's gravitational pull. So are you sure it would be quicker travelling against the earths rotation ?. If you ever sit on a plane that is travelling close to 500 mph, and you throw a piece of fruit in the air at 90 degrees (whilst the plane is not climbing or descending). Does the piece of fruit fall 90 degrees or less ?.
