Dean, thnk about this last night after I sent a reply to your mail. You say that you disconnected the vaccum pipe, but did you also cap off the main air pipe ?, if not you will still get the air passing through the recirs. Someone correct me if I am wrong here. I fitted my BOVS in place of my recircs, so I'm not 100% sure if you still need to cap off the air pipe when fitting on the hard pipes.

Just bought a whole set of locks off of AndyZ so I will be doing these at somepoint. It's not hard to do but will probably take a good few hours.

Mine either. Do you mean two or three second cranks or do you mean two or three attempts to start it ?. Could it have something to do with the spark plugs being totally dry ?

Nothing wrong with HKS ones mate. I've had mine fitted for over two months and never had any problems with them :rolleyes: However the same can not be said for the Blitz ones. ;)

Paul, Have you phoned Mike Freney yet, I'm sure he be able to give you a gentle nudge in the right direction. Also I've got the PCV valves and hoses that you wanted. Does this mena you are just going to go ahead and get new turbo's without trying the PCV valves etc first ?. There is no noise from your turbo's and no lack of performance and to be honest I know you say they smoke allot but there wasn't that much when I had a look at it. Are you really sure you want to change your turbo's ???. And do you still want these Valves and hoses that I ordered for you ?

I had this on mine for a short while, I spent hours trying to find out what it was. I took things apart check the belts etc. but couldn't find the problem area. Then about two months ago it seemed to just stop. Not heard it since and didn't change anything at the time either. :confused:

Yeah I got an import and my horm sounds pretty beefy. I'm sure its standard as well.
