  1. Ah I was under the impression that you had already bought them !
  2. Sorry to hear that Barks. If you find the guy/girl that did it, I would return the favour and give them a nice long scar to remember you by, (2 stanley blades with a 50p coin in between = scar for life as you can't stitch it up). Disclaimer: I do not encourage bad and violent behavour
  3. Ah, is there something you are not telling us Glen, you been to a school open day recently :D :D. Just out of interest how much would a projector and screen set me back. I like it :D
  4. Well I've always liked the Avez myself (Had my eyes on the AS for a while) but the Blitz on your motor look just as good. I'm not sure I would have forked out the extra cash for them, but I guess that if you wanna try and keep up with Dave W and AndrewG then you gotta go with the blitz LOL :D. No seriously mate they look very nice.
  5. Excellent Idea..... I'm looking forward to the changes ahead. On a serious note I would like to vote Matty in as chief PW :D :D
  6. The passenger side is a doddle with the right tool, or a complete nightmare with the wrong one. The drivers side is slighty more difficult. :D Before you change them I would get them checked. A conZult is the easiest way to check these. Get someone to run a diag, go to full data monitoring, once the car has warmed (O2 sensors are ignored while the car is cold), then rev and hold to about 2,500 rpm. Both O2 sensors should rise and fall between .0 and .80. If the O2 sensor is completely dead. it will register at a constant 1.54 volts. If the O2 sensor is lazy it will hardly react. You want a good amount of movement in the readings displayed on the conZult.
  7. G03's are the same as GSD3's sorry for the confusion. The tread pattern between the 2's and 3's are slightly different. but basically the same tyre. 3's look sexier though LOL :D
  8. Probably the guy who owned it befor eyou :D. A photo would be good, jsut for the sake of a photo ;).
  9. Yeah, but did you remeber to stop off at courts or carpet world ? :D :D
  10. Well it wasn't me Roy, I would have had Whoop'd ya :D Maybe ChrissyP, he had a silver NA. Was is stock body ?

  13. Can't really help much mate, I managed to kick the habbit and haven't played it now for about a month or so. Maybe you just need a good ar$e whooping !!! :D :D I'll give you a shout later this week and we'll have a game :D

Yeah just got a mail from him sayng his nuts were too loose.
  17. You've probably pulled a wire from the speed defender unit if it wasn't chiming before. Just remove the two screws under the hood of the dash and lift it off. you should be able to see down the back of the clocks and tell which wire is loose or free.
  18. I gotta go with Matty on the F1's. I have Eagle F1's G02's on the front which are superglued to the road and Eagle F1's G03's on the rear which are just amazing. I was was used to doing 180 sliders when the road was too narrow and a 3 point turn is needed, but with these I wouldn't even try it, they grip far too much (besides they are brand new and I don't fancy them only lasting 4,000 miles). I would also agree with Metty in that the tread patteren is not only effective but it does loook really nice. I won't be changing from the F1's personally. Even on my new 18's I can get these for about £90+VAT for 225/50 ZR16 (g03's)
  19. Eric, if you are changing the rear disc's you should eally change the rear pads as well especially s you say there was unevenb wear on them. Sounds like a few pistons on the back calipers may be sticky. Is there uneven wear on both sides or just the one ?. It may be worth going to SS braided hoses as well, this made a hell of a difference with mine.

TT Cat's out Pro - no back pressure = quicker turbo spool up and response time Nicer sound from the exhaust Con - May decrease the lifespan of the rear turbo seals NA Cat's out Pro - deeper sound from the exhaust Con - no back pressure = decrease in performance on an NA in IMO not worth it.
  21. Is that guy with the red jumper on related to Tooley ??? :D
  22. I know it's only Paintshop, but those wheels look mighty fine. Once of the reason is that they look bigger thatn the avez. I imagine that they are both 18's but I think 19's on the Blitz would kick ass !!!

  24. Hi Dave, I went for the health food salad with Chicken Breast in the end. Macca thinks I have tweedy Arms :D, so I gotta start pushing heavy weights for a while to see if I can get them to grow 1/4" by Billing LOL.
