Well I've been driving for 11 years now, Been pulled over once and given a producer,never been in an accident. So I could have saved just under £10k..... and this is exactly how some people are going to start to think. That rule really sucks, if they are going to enforce the £200 fine then they need to do something to cover the rest of the drivers that gonna get hammered if one of these uninsured drivers rams them at traffic lights.

Yeah it's an upgrade mate, you take all your exhaust valves out and replace them all with fooked up burnt ones. That way about 50% of your fuel escapes through the zorst and you get to have flames all day long :D :D

I really can't decide on what to have for lunch. I'm in a right predicament. Should I got for the pasta salad, or the salad with chicken or maybe not the salad at all, I could have a roll with salad and chicken or maybe tuna mayo. But then I could have a hot dish or lamb casserole with rice, or fried fish with chips....then I have to choose a drink as well, it's all too much, I really need your help guys I don't have a mind of my own. or maybe I just need reassurance from people that it looks good. I was in two minds about buying James wheels, and yes I did ask a few people what they though about them, especially the colour. A few people said do't bother and get a new set of silvers, others said yeah they would look good. Well, I just posted that to see what other people were buying, modifying. To be honest I'm quite glad that only 2 out of the 20 who voted said they liked the brushed Ali (and one of those votes was me :D :D). At least I know my car will be different :D. Ok, maybe I should have posted this..... I've just changed to Brushed Ali, used to have Carbon and before that it was just plain, just thought I'd show you guys a few pictures of the changes. I can see how ever, that by posting a poll it may look like I'm trying to see which one everyone prefers so I can stick with it, but hell no, I just paid a fair few quid for the brushed Ali and I love it. It has really brightened up my interior and I won't be going back :D :D. To be honest, if everyone said to me "Stu, that looks really sh*t. 7 hours ?. Surely it can't take 7 hours to look at something and then say it's gonna cost this much plus the £210 it took me to ay that. I have seen some fairly cheap ones on Ebay for sale which I have been steering clear of, however I have found a company that makes racing struts. They are not for show because they don;t come with any fancy finish paint jobby, but I have mailed the company to see if they can make a pair for the 300zx, then I'll get them chromed. I'll put up some pictures when/if I get them. A few months yet I imagine.

Yeah I had this on my TT before I got a UK bumper. But the just looks so much better being symmetrical. With only 1 reversing light I used to get people saying "you've got a bulb out mate". With the inner brake lights, it really does look the part. Another Idea, I can't remember who mentioned this, I think it was James300 but it could have been Paul Gunn or Jaffa. Was to drill out and attach another bulb holder to the bottom of the reversing lights pod. This is then connected up with a red bulb. So this way you get both your reversing lights and two fogs in the same lenses. only down side would be reversing in the fog but who does that ?

Just goes to show how different we all are. Basic is winning, then Carbon, then Ali. I personally went from Basic to Carbon then from Carbon to Ali, which I have now. No, pictures until it's all done, though.

Hi, Yeah Jaffa (James) helped me wire up the rear fogs to SMW2 today. Turns out I was using an incompatable relay. Got a another one from Maplins and with James pointing to wires and terminals on the relay, I wired it up and what do you know. It worked fine. I ran a switch to the font of the car and into the blank where the cruise controls would usually sit. LOL, funnything is that I have gone through 2 Stop and Tail light sensors to get this to work. They are only a tenna off of Andy Z, but it's still cost me a lot more than it should have done. Thanks for your help James, very much appreciated. If you need any help sorting those O2 sensor out, let me know. :D

You sound like you would get along with my missus like a house on fire (she's also a 300zx owner). Not sure where you are located, but there are lots of people on this forum who are very very helpful. So if you get stuck or need any help don't be affraid to shout and I'm sure someone will be more than happy to pop by and give you a hand.

The mis-fire may be lack of fuel or incorrect mix of fuel and air. You may not have an aftermarket ECU, but it may be worth checking what chip you have inside your ECU. Running standard boost on a stock chip that hasn't been remapped is asking for trouble. You can pick an aftermarket JWT or SE chip up from £100. This may not cure your misfire problem but it will sure make your car safer to run at 14psi.
