  1. thanks dave, i was thinking something similar, basically, its fooked get another
  2. no its not supposed to be on
  3. my window goes down fine but stops at several points on the way up. i have to give it a shove to get it to move again. When it stops the motor makes a horrible noise and it does it when all the way up too. Ive had the door apart but cannot find anything out of place except a tiny amount of slack when lifting. It has in the past stopped for no reason too, a little bang and it goes again, can it be the same box causing the problems?
  4. haha vinz, i was just testing the process, now i know how i can have a go sometime. I know it looks turd but its never going to be used so dont panic.
  5. i dont have anything else :(
  6. yes, 80, 120 and 400, but i mainly cheated and used abrasive compounds
  7. My first ever attempt to polish a piece of metal, it was just a trial and will never go on the car but now i understand the process :) Wish id spent more time on it now though Ignore the imperfections and look at that shine :hyper:
  8. most powerfull 2litre naturally aspirated engine in the world mate
  9. id have one
  10. diy job, its the power transistor unit (square silver box under driver side throttle body pipe), the early models give up without warning but the series 2 doesn't.
  11. the first two pics are from the drivers side? thats the brake master?
  12. He should have stayed with you mate, they're very quick cars.
  13. check out the april car of the month competition. A member (cant remember his name, sorry) has flared rear arches
  14. i like it, well done bud
  15. I have koni adjustable too, they are set on the softest which is very comfy with supprisingly little body roll. But anything but the softest and it bounces everywhere and the brakes become shit. I have a small white adjuster that i keep in the glovebox, you put it on top of the shock and turn it, looks like a gas bottle tap with a koni logo on it.
  16. interesting it says it hits 280ps at 6400rpm. Below is a rolling road graph when my car ran standard, look at the rpm when it hits max HP
  17. I still dont understand what to use to do this
  18. It was jimmy tt with the hammerite. Are you serious £30 to powder coat a plenum?
