yep even easier, they simply replace the outer two big hoses in the engine bay, but you have to remove the recircs and run a breather hose either from the balance bar or the recirc top

It depends on the brand mate, some dont make any issues, some cause stalling when you are hard on the brakes or blip the throttle. Mine cause no issue what so ever, but i have had some bad ones in the past. TurboXs all the way!

Mine works fine and nearly always comes out of the face vents no matter the temp setting.

the problem you have is that your comparing a tuned gt4 to a stock zed. or so it seems Just wait for the RR day and you will know for certain. and my zed needs some tlc in the bodywork department too, But it shore goes :)

A custom cat-back will set you back between £500-£700 in stainless steel An of the shelf one such as the japspeed ones on ebay will be £300-£700 The pre built ones are always the better option as the welding is spot on and the fit is usually exact. sounds more like your coilpack connectors need cleaning or are not seated right
