  1. A JWT chip or similar will be fine. You will need your ECU socketed for that. Then if you wanted to go a bit further you could strip out your bleed valves and fit a boost controller. They needn't cost a fortune, the GReddy Profec II is about £250ish.
  2. Ok, how about a nice RED airbrushed bonnet?
  3. What colour is the car?
  4. There is no answer to this question. It is personal preference. Fun though arguing about it........I have an auto and if that blew up I would go manual. Thing is, the Z isn't a sports car, its a GT so I do think an auto box has its place. The general thoughts on autos is that they are slow, grandad style things.....I thought that, till I drove an auto Z. You can't compare them to other auto's. And if you are comparing it to Grandad's Granada then you will be surprised.
  5. Castrol would be the one. My local car spares shop got mine for me. It wasn't on the shelf but they got it in specially. Wasn't there someone on here though that could get it? I would try a search under "Castrol".
  6. I was thinking exactly the same but its nice to think its true anyway. TBH I'm surprised more camera's aren't vandalised. I mean how hard would it be to go around armed with a black aerosol and spraying over the little lens? You could do quite a few in a night........ I would never do anything like this.

Have fun mate! Be careful you big hairy mother fooker.
  8. I've heard Pete Shrimp loves it! Its the only time he has enough power to spin the back wheels. Heard the NA boys are out too......."oh yeah, it can go sideways!" Only joking - be careful everyone!
  9. Yeah, don't risk it Matty. In the Golf I couldn't even pull away from the kerb this morning, forwards or backwards! I was "iced in". Had to pour hot water on the road to melt some of the ice. That will have frozen now and some old Granny has probably just fallen over on it. Oh well, as long as I got away ok.

  14. John! I have got new connectors for my coilpacks and have will have a couple of excellent condition one's left over you are welcome to. Erm.....haven't got around to doing them yet but will be very soon.
  15. I've had a quick chat with the guy at the above place. Denso 8's, iridium are £11.94. Only thing with 8's is if they don't get hot enough (to keep clean) they will foul up. Hmmm, 7's maybe - middle of the road! BKR7EIX-11 £8.95 each. http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/specials/300zx.htm Bit cheaper there. Ok, no longer on here as a trader but come on mods, don't delete it. If I had seen this first off..........Rob is a good guy!
  16. Cheers Andy. So is a "6" considered a "cold" plug? Or is there such a thing as a PFR5B-11C?
  17. Any good? I'm thinking one of those and colder plugs will help things along a bit when I set up my chip and boost controller.
  18. John, what make are they mate? I think the 6's are a colder plug. (edit) it seems the higher the number the colder the rating. But as Andy says below not sure all manufacturers use the same coding.
  19. No answer from Santa! Stuart, cheers mate.
  20. A cheaper MSD one http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=2628&cat_id=13&cat_name=Fuel%20Pumps%20and%20Regulators&sc_id=55&sc_name= Just having a quick chat with Thor and this came up in conversation as a cure to lean fueling and general good idea.
  21. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=22670-ADJPR Anyone fitted one? Not NISMO particularly, but any adjustable one.
  22. I'm after a set of colder rated plugs. Who does 'em? Cheers.
