Junct 11 of M4........hmmmm.........quite a way but keen to show off my Z since I've got it back, haven't been to a meet in it yet.
  3. And you are confident that they have done a proper job on the connectors? When I said the wiring I meant the wiring/connectors. Can you lay your hands on a spare PTU just to make sure? Have a little read through this maybe for a few pointers..... http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/hesitate2.html
  4. This doesn't sound like the PTU to me. How is your wiring to the injectors?
  5. Have a look at this thread John http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=28524&highlight=upper Sounds the same.
  6. Well, when mine had the same hesitation I replaced the temp sensor and harness and it went. I put the old one on again and it came back, I was just making sure that it was that causing the problem. IIRC there was a slight dip in the revs too before they rose. Now I'm not saying this is the one and only cause of a hesitation becuase there are so many - just that it is definately one and through further investigation found out that the temp sensor is responsible for alot of how the engine runs. So replace it anyway I reckon, but the harness aswell as the wiring to it will prob be a bit worse for wear.
  7. LOL !! I do have to do some today actually........so will be a bit quiet LOL
  8. Excellent! Hope there wasn't any damage. And typical response from the pesky pork chops.
  9. Work???? Don't let that stop you! ..............I don't.
  10. 3 hours? Sh1t. Who was that AA/RAC? Yep, once you use that foam the tyre cannot be repaired.

  13. Steve....did you look at the link I posted up? Some good pics and info. http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/boostJets/boostJets.html
  14. Got a feeling that might not be Emero's 1st choice
  15. You not thought of joining the AA or RAC?
  16. Nos........have a look here http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/boostJets/boostJets.html
  17. LOL.........what do you think SE use for their "boost upgrade" ?? You said yourself to get down there! Then you said you don't know how good they are. :D A boost controller is the safest and most effective way of raising the boost. The tips do work but are just a bit crude. I had an SE upgrade about 3 years ago with no probs but have seen the light with a nice GReddy boost controller.
  18. That "favour" you pm'd me about???? Forget it LOL
  19. You fookin pervert. You're sick. Oh.........erm.........I like my ratchet spanners!
  20. NIGHTMARE mate, I said NIGHTMARE !
  21. (edit) Read the post properly Jimbo. :slap:
  22. I've done the same with an 8v mk2 Golf GTI. Saving over £200 on the insurance on BOTH compared to JUST the Z. Z only car.......£750. Golf...............£250 Z on classic....£260. The Z seems even more special now when I get it out of the garage!
  23. Well, this is getting to me now..........haven't been able to sleep for ages. Its the same every night..........its horrible. Quite distressing. So much so I went to a hypnotist. He put me in to a relaxed state while he tried this new brainwave image camera. He said this could hold a clue to the cause of the nightmares. I'm not sure, this is what it recorded..........what do you think? HERE
  24. .........and there it is!
