Southern go-Karting
An endurance one is DEF the one to do!!! I did this last year and it was EXCELLENT!! Alot better than heats and finals type thing. Stu - the place I went to included trophies and shields etc in the cost! It was BRILLIANT. I can find out more if anyone wants? Of if Mike's place doesn't do the endurance thing.

No, its no that difficult. I changed all of mine on the front for longer NISMO numbers. Its just a case of dropping the caliper off and removing the disc.....then finding a bloody great big hammer to knock the old one's out the back of the hub. Pressing the new one's back in is a little more tricky and this requires a bit of time and care so a)they are coming through square, they have splines but still can press through p1ssed, and b)that they are pressed in all the way, and I mean so that the stop at the end of the bolt is butted right up the the hub, flush. Using a wheel nut and some chunky washers is a help to pull them through. But in my own expereince the nut can get very hot due to the friction so keep it wd40'd up, worked for me, and I learnt the hard way! (2 seizing on)

John, the best way to do this is under pressure as manually draining will leave quite a bit still in the torque converter. You can repeat the process a few times but nothing beats it being drained under line pressure. Think there's a write up on Andy's site. Sorry, can't help you with the gasket question. Found the write up, it may help you a bit. http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/autoTrannyOilChange/autoTrannyOilChange.html- FAO Marc black/zx

Sounds like 'caliper creak' to me and aparently there isn't much you can do about it. I presume your pads will be a little worn, nothing like needing replacing, but replacing will cure it......until they wear low again. Do a search on 'caliper creak' and some more info will be had.- Top new front end from Zcentre

When I first of all subscribed I was disappointed that I didn't get anything through the post. Was expecting a 'welcome' kinda letter maybe. Some car stickers would've hit the spot for sure.- Smw99

This is very true John, and it is often under-estimated I think. If we could channel all that passion and energy, then we'd be onto a good thing. - Nismo Oil Cap
