Im no expert but i really think its got to do with your P.T.U i know you changed it recently but id test by borrowing one and just seeing if it works,it was one of the last things you touched. Surley your luck cant be that bad that something else connected to your problem also goes wrong like the CAS.

Power light indicates that your gear box will hold the revs out much longer,up to the red line in each gear. :p

That happend to me and it was a pipe to the turbo perished get it fixed :D

Could it be the p.t.u i had a simular problem and it was that.or maybe your timing belt has slipped another thing which happend to me lol fun. :eek:

I was in a black one heading towards the M11 you turned off towards the A12 i carried on along the A406.

I had casrol magnatec and changed it tapping stopped.

I had that problem SE changed the oil no more noise.

If 300ZX is not a cause what is lol :rolleyes:

The revs go up when the AC is off i was just wondering if its the temp sensor, it does it more when the weather is hot. But has only been doing it for about a week and a half,and i just have the feeling its the temp sensor.

After driving then sitting in traffic for a while my revs will rise from 750 to 950 rpm it was ok a few weeks ago could it be the temp sensor which was bought new may last year?

maybe your belt snapped and it wedged.

Mine jumped five teeth recently, i didnt drive it when as it ticked over so rough,towed it to SE who said i was lucky, i think it was caused by one of the screws that the P.T.U is tightend to fell in my fault i thought it would just drop to the bottom and stay there lol.

maybe something was left unplugged have a second check

Check to see if the coil pack conectors are all plugged in mine popped off a few times when i put my foot down only one but that could be the problem.

I wouldnt do it at all cant afford to waste 1500-2000 :eek:

Could this smoke be condensation which happens in damp weather?

Well im sorry but i think you were parked illegal too close to a bend.

I really cant see why your parked illegal if your on a bend and not a junction ill have to look that up might be a new one lol.

You can but it would be better to take the dash out cost me 350 to do mine.
